Staff that checked us in/out were super friendly and helpful. Room itself was not very clean and smelled very bad. Bed and linens were nice.

The staff was very nice -- the room had everything one would need for an overnight stay. The rooms are dated; however, the sheets were clean. My only issue is the microwave wasn't cleaned -- it looked as if someone spilled a red sauce inside and was dried and caked inside when we arrived.

A modest and quiet location, a bit dated, but still a nice facility. Don’t expect anything more than coffee for breakfast, and then only in the lobby. Room had a small coffee maker but nothing to put in it. Breakfast area in lobby was vacant, apparently unused. Several very good dining options and shops just a couple of minute drive away. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

The staff were incredibly helpful and professional which we really appreciated. The price was great overall for our stay, so we’d rate the overall stay as a 3/5 stars only because the room wasn’t the most maintained and the other person I came with said the room consistently felt “wet” or almost humid, but we turned the AC down so it was fine. There are some spots we noticed that were off like a spot on the wall next to the bed, and two of the pillows. The parking had a bunch of availability, however a little bumpy on the road on the way in. We loved the local wildlife!

They are working on remodeling, so I'll give them some grace. Room was nice and clean. The young lady at the front desk was helpful & as sweet as can be. On the down side here was a very bright light outside by the window that kept me from sleeping well. The bathtub was old and gross and there was a creepy open vent in the bathroom that I didn't trust.

The room that my family and I stayed in was NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the photos AT ALL. The furniture was very old and worn, probably original from the 70s. The TV did not work at all nor did the phone. They supplied the fixings to make coffee but there was no coffee maker in the room. The stained towels and the walls were paper thin. The room seemed like something you’d rent by the hour. If there are rooms at this motel that look anything like the photos then I’m sure our stay would have been more pleasant. But our room was definitely old and pretty disgusting. It did appear to have a new HVAC unit which worked well and helped a little to drown out the noise from people talking in the rooms around us. I would encourage anyone looking to skip this place, maybe even travel to Baton Rouge. I promise it would be worth the drive.

Room was dirty. The carpet was greasy and turned your feet black. The shower was stained. The bathroom door was jammed so you couldnt shut it or you would be stuck in it unless someone was on the other side helping you turn the handle. The toilet kept going off filling up the whole time because it was broken. The hotel itself looks like its falling apart. Cement missing up stairs which is a trip hazard. No lights on the stair case so you have to turn your flash light on so you dont fall. The door itself, you have to slam so it will catch other wise it wont lock and you can just push it open. Ive stayed here a few times and the rooms get worse each time.

Although the staff was amazing, the manager is not. I asked for a partial refund. The manager somehow charged me for an extra day and when I asked for it to be taken off and for a partial refund, it took over 2 weeks to have the extra charge taken off. No partial refund. I was never contacted by the manager, even though I called almost every day and send emails. I only spoke with the staff at the front desk. One of them was able to get the extra charge taken off, NOT the manager. The room was filthy. Our bed was dirty, stains on one of the sheets, some wierd particles on top of the sheets, dead bugs around and the air filters was so bad that when you open it, stuff would fall out of it. Everything was booked in the area. This was las resort and I will not make that mistake again. Staff was very friendly. Manager is MIA and useless Room is discusting If I would have been contacted by someone, I would not have made this review.
