Beautiful lake shore area, with a campfire every night and s'mores fixings for free. Two nice pools and hot tub, free shuttle to the ferry, and the breakfast room was available for our large family to play games in the evening. Staff was wonderful.

Room clean staff was extremely nice the breakfast was delicious and the amenities were awesome. The only downside was some kids that kept bouncing around in the room above mine and some guests were loud at the fire pit after hours.

This hotel was on the water, had great amenities, and you can see the marina from many of the rooms, so watching the drone show and fireworks is as easy as walking to your balcony/patio. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, check in was easy, rooms were clean and quiet. Next time hopefully we will stay when it is warmer and we'll be able to take advantage of the pool and hot tub, but it looked clean and nice! Plus you can literally swim outside while looking at the straits/Lake Huron, which is so cool. Highly recommend this hotel!

My main concern for a motel stay is cleanliness. From the bathroom, to the beds, the room, pool, hot tub and grounds: all spotlessly clean. The breakfast was barely average motel breakfast. Very quiet overall, no sound between rooms or slamming doors. Check in and staff - great. Very close to ferry to Mackinac Island, 5 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable and no musty or chemical smells in the room. Nice elevator. Good views of lake, pool and grounds. Problems: There is an big open crack in the bathroom tub floor with a feeble attempt to fix. The bathroom fan which ran whenever the light was on, the sound went from a loud fan to just short of a cheap kitchen blender sound, motor bad. The balcony door took great effort to open/close, stuck very hard and needed lubrication. Overall the layout, comfort and cleanliness were very good and I would likely stay again, hopefully with a better bathroom.
