"This is an absolutely exceptional hotel - starting with a very personal check-in by one of the owners to a fantastic room (we had a junior suite with in-room bathtub and mountain view) to the culinary highlights of the Gault Millau recommended cuisine. All of this in a cozy ambiance that combines Tyrolean hospitality with modern amenities. Having traveled in many countries over the years with numerous hotels - Strasserwirt really stands out. Auch bei einer Halbpension bietet das Hotel eine MittagsJause an welches reichhaltig mit Suppen, Salaten und warmen Gerichten aufgestellt ist. "BE CAREFUL!
I booked this hotel for three nights back on August 27 of 2025, several months in advance of my Feb. 16th, 2026 check-in date. The agreed upon rate after tax was C$2,690.40. At time of checkout, the hotel charged me €2690.40. When I brought this back up with the hotel, they denied responsibility. This is a corrupt business which lacks integrity, and will take every opportunity to try and take advantage of its unsuspecting clients. Predatory. Transactional."
