We had a wonderful two-night stay with Lynn and George. They were such friendly and welcoming hosts and gave us lots of helpful information about places to visit in the area. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to start each day. Our room was beautifully decorated with lovely Victorian pieces that added so much charm and character to the inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Lynn and George, for making our stay so memorable!
George and his wife were very helpful. They have a beautiful old B&B overlooking the water.
Our room was very comfortable.
There were very nice choices for breakfast.
George gave told us some history of the town. We enjoyed chatting with him.
A memorable stay for us.
We had a lovely stay. Breakfast was as good as it gets, a comfortable bed and a breath taking view. Was nice chatting with the owners and the other guests. I strongly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rothesay Heritage house. The view of Harbour Grace was spectacular. The hosts, George and Lynn, greatly contributed to our great lodging experience. Lynn’s breakfast was the best! George gave us suggestions regarding where we should go and what to do there.
George entertained us with his musical talent on the piano and guitar. Our only complaint was that the bathroom was too small. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to others.
This is a charming old house, beautifully restored. The hosts George and Lynn were very welcoming and helpful. Lynn prepared a delicious breakfast both days. George regaled us with stories about Newfoundland.
I stayed only one night but wish I could have stayed longer. The property was so beautiful and full of character. The scenery was incredible and the street was quiet. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It was also lovely visiting with the other guests. Beats a hotel hands down!
George and Lynn were gracious and hospitable. The historic home was well-maintained mixing newer amenities with the historical charm. Lynn's breakfast was top-chef worthy. George is the guest pleaser, story teller, and provided excellent local dining options. Great hosts. Great visit.
Was a well kept old historic home. Great base to travel to points of interest. Host guided us many a time on where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was just the way we do it at home.
Host and hostess were so nice.
Our hosts were excellent. They take great pride in their Inn and it shows in the finest details. An amazing, personalized breakfast! The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and there was a lot to learn about this very interesting area of Newfoundland. Glad we stayed!
John and Cindy were amazing. Beautiful home. Fantastic food, snacks and conversation. We felt like members of the family. And Elwood the cat is such a sweetie! I highly recommend.
George and Lynn were perfect hosts. Delicious breakfasts every day (literally chef quality) and helpful information on what to see in the area and how to get there.
The rooms are comfortable and every effort was made to make our stay enjoyable.
Our hosts George and Lynn were really amazing and very helpful and showing us the “must see” places during and after our stay. The room we were in was simply beautiful and SO comfortable! The breakfast Lynn made for us was most delightful! Highly recommended! Thank you George and Lynn and à bientôt! 👍
What a lovely homey B&B. The house is an historic one and the furnishings and decor are in keeping with that. The room we had was big and had 3 lovely bright windows with a window seat. Our hosts, Lynn and George were amazing. Very helpful with ideas of places to go and things to do, not just around Harbour Grace but all over the Avalon. We followed their suggestions and were never disappointed. And the breakfasts were fantastic. More than enough and so well prepared. We did play with the idea of bringing Lynn home with us! In fact we had originally booked in for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay for an additional 3. Would definitely recommend this beautiful spot!
Had a wonderful night stay the owners Lynn and George were great people to talk to we thoroughly enjoyed our stay beautiful property highly recommend staying there !!!
