고풍스러운 느낌의 호텔
옛날 느낌의 호텔입니다. 옛날 느낌이라기보다는 진짜 건물이 옛날 건물입니다. 고풍스러운 느낌을 원한다면 좋습니다. 냉장고가 없고 샤워기가 분리형이 아닌 천장 고정형인 건 불편했습니다. 수압도 많이 약합니다. 원래 호텔이 아니라 체육인들 모임 시설이라 그런지 1층에 이것 저것 볼 것이 많아 좋았습니다.

Hotel is part of the athletic club so expect dress codes. Nice bar to sit and relax. Loved the location as able to walk to Gateway Arch, restaurants. Fee for parking but it’s in a garage and well worth it in my opinion. We were able to park upon arrival and leave our vehicle in the garage until we checked out.

Had a water leak issue with 1st room. Front desk took care of it immediately and put us is a different room. Only real issue was loud occupants in other rooms on floor.

This is a wonderful historic hotel in downtown St. Louis. Excellent, welcoming staff and well-appointed rooms.

Wonderful stay
We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff was amazing and accommodations were overall very nice. Bathrooms were dated and shower was small. Other than that, very nice.

Missouri Athletic Club was an okay experience. Not too bad, not too stellar. My conference was at the America's Center couple blocks down the street so the walking distance was great, but not a lot of eatery around the hotel. The hotel room was okay at best - the room had one of those doors that connected to the room next door and holy cow, it was anti-soundproof, I could hear EVERYTHING. There is also a dress code which is old school. The fitness center is awesome though, for $15 and if you stay multiple days, it's worth it.

Not as expected
They did not serve breakfast in any of their cafes or restaurants in the morning of December 2nd. Yet they gave us a piece of paper saying that breakfast was served in the Sportsman's Club. Seems the front desk should have known that. The room we stayed in was small but adequate. However, they had painted over the bathroom tile and it was flaking off the wall badly. Did not make sense to paint over ceramic tile. I would not recommend this as an overnight stay unless necessary. One positive note: they had a fabulous toy train set up in the lobby with multiple trains and even a toy roller coaster. Great for kids at Christmas time.

A solid place to stay if you are seeing a concert or sporting event at Dome. It's a brief walk around the block. The room is fine, nothing outstanding. The hotel is older, which ads to its charm. I would stay there again.

For $200 our room was size of a big closet. Dirty, old, and terribly run down. Son saw 2 roaches in hallway yet they dont want you to wear hats or athletic gear in lobby. Pluses tho..... It is very convenient for anything at The Dome and staff was super friendly. I definitely would not stay again.

It gets pretty loud at times through the night. Place is old, but decent. There was a foul smell when walking through the lobby in the middle of the night. It is very close to The Dome, only a 2-3 minute walk, and only a 10-15 minute walk over to Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium. Parking is reasonably priced at $25 per night. I would stay here again if it was just for 1 night. There is a dress code to go to the on site restaurants.

This is a wonderful old hotel and club. The exterior is exceptionally beautiful and the staff are wonderful!

While the staff is exceptional, the rooms have much to be desired. There’s no counter space or exhaust fan in the bathroom, very small shower, game changer for me is you cannot control your own room temp so it was very stuffy. Also, there’s a dress code inside the building and it doesn’t state it anywhere on the hotel website

The hotel was within a few minutes of the Dome. Jack Buck’s Grill was on the premises so we conveniently ate at the hotel. Good food. The ambience of the hotel was from days gone by. Beautiful walnut paneling throughout the lobby and hallways. Rooms somewhat antiquated but charming.

Cool historic building. Our room was clean, we could smell it as soon as we opened the door. The only thing about a historic building, however, is that the rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Very little vanity space and the shower was extremely small. But the bed was comfortable and the coffee maker was well stocked. I would probably stay here again but I would prefer to find a larger room.

Room was clean except for the carpet, which had some stains. Wish there had been no carpet. Could use some updates. The shower was very small. Difficult to move around. Through no fault of the hotel, downtown St Louis is extremely noisy. All day and all night, there are constant loud cars racing through the streets. Ear plugs suggested.

the location of the property to Busch Stadium and also the Horseshoe Casino. Easy and safe walk to each place. Also, the Metro station is close by. Definitely stay here again.
