The dining room and hallways were filthy. I would never stay here again. The coffee and juice were both so watered down it was disgusting. When the staff placed more yogurt into the fridge the containers were warm like they had been sitting in a closet somewhere instead of being refrigerated.

Won’t stay here again
You were either cold or hot. Heater didn’t work properly.. The breakfast next to nothing. Was unwilling to make more food. Room wasn’t clean. Spiderwebs were everywhere.

Was not asked at checkin if I wanted to use the phone. Turned out to be dead. I needed the phone to ask questions about wifi which was not working. Eventually got help from front desk after going back downstairs to learn I was missing a checkbox to access wife. No information about breakfast provided. Light in room operated by lightswitch at entrance was ok for a nightlight, but not enough to safely navigate the room. When I switched on light over sink, one of the fixtures flickered at about once per half second. Not good if I was an epileptic. But uncomfortable for me anyway. I fixed it by unscrewing the bulb. But clearly management doesn't inspect the rooms for simple things that make a guest feel welcome. Minor things; clock not plugged in and set. I would not choose to stay here again. Have been used to a much higher Sleep Inn standard.

Well we couldn't get more towels. Woke up sweating because the air wouldn't turn on, I was supposed to have 2 queen beds had 2 full beds. We were supposed to get included breakfast but instead had coffee with roaches in it, juice machine didn't work, the biscuits were rock hard, the milk was rotten and sour . Asked for ice water and was told to get it myself or use hot water. They even locked us out after we left to go get breakfast, the room was filthy and wasn't cleaned properly, the sheets were dirty and the shower.

The hot water or telephone did not work in my room. The juice machine was broken during breakfast so we had to buy drinks from the vending machine.

Staff was very nice and polite and quite helpful with my issues, however the room itself wasn't the most clean, I had a bit of troubles with the vending machine (didn't work and had to be refunded) and the required deposit I had to make because of I paid through a third party (which I got back little under a week later), the road was riddled with potholes, and the breakfast wasn't very appealing with both the beverage machines being out of order and even a cockroach scuddled out of one when I tried to operate it (again no out of order sign same as the vending machine). I also had to re-activate my room card twice as they weren't working on my lock, but again the staff made sure it helps me out as quick as possible and respectfully as possible so props to the staff that work at this facility that does need a lot of improvements in quality.

When I first walked in, the sheets had holes and stained, carpet was filthy. In the morning the breakfast was pitiful, the the juice dispenser didn’t work, and the toaster was not working properly either. Air conditioner was propped up on pieces of wood. No even a worthy a $20 a night.

We stay in Sleep Inns all over - I chose this hotel over others because I like Sleep Inns. Never. Again. This might have been the nastiest hotel we’ve stayed in to date. It looked like someone had cleaned paint brushes in our bathroom sink. The shower was an old jacuzzi tub with a shower head on the wall. By the time you were done showering there was three feet of water in the tub. There were visible messes that someone had tried to clean but failed on our room carpet and furniture. There were bagels for breakfast. But that was about it - no jelly, no butter, no cream cheese. Mustard. Perhaps bagels and mustard are a delicacy at the Sleep Inn in St. Charles, but I’ll pass. We were in a non-smoking room, but it stunk like smoke and our bed comforter had cigarette burns all over it. It was laughably bad. Ice machine - broken. There was a gap in our door - so we could seriously see people in the hallway outside our room.

I didnt like that i booked it for the pool and as soon as i paid the non refundable fee, i got an email saying the pool was closed!! Then they deactivated our room key an hour before check out!!!!

Choose this for convenience, cost and breakfast. It was convenient and cost was lower but lacked cleanliness and a decent breakfast. Bed was comfortable but tiles and kick plate around door was falling off and looked quite dirty. The toilet was loose and tipped when seating. Elevator wall was dusty and finger prints everywhere. Ice machine was broken on 3rd floor. Yogurt for breakfasst was expired and bagels stale.

Some one was going up and down hall both nights trying to get in are door. Hunting for Amand a 2 nd night at two in the morning we got up and left. Worse place we have ever stayed.

Do not stay at this hotel. It needed to be updated. There was spider webs hanging over several doors in this hotel.. Right before we went to sleep, we noticed a roach crawling on the wall

Place needs alot of help - Gone down hill
The room I booked was not the room I was given. Even accepting the other room, with a discount added, which was never refunded, the "jetted tub" would not even hold water much less the jets work. The drain would not hold water at all. The reason I chose this room was for the hot tub and wasn't even able to enjoy it. This place has gone down hill badly. Do not stay here.

The property is in horrible shape. We had to swerve around huge potholes to get parked. There was a cockroach crawling up the wall when I walked in the room. The whole place has a bad smell. The carpet is so gross and stained. It was so hot in our room when we walked I. You could hardly breathe, and it took forever to cool off. There weren’t enough towels for two people to shower. The whole experience was awful.

Disappointing stay.
Hotel is under much needed renovation. Dirty mattresses were piled right up front in the lobby. Large potholes all over entrance to hotel. Hotel smells old and unclean in hallways. Elevator made us all nervous. Room cleanliness was unsatisfactory. There was hard caked on dirt on the shower ceiling. Bathroom floor was very sticky. For a suite, the bathroom was also very tiny. Stains on couch and chairs. Large splatter mark on wall by bathroom. Also, we had to kill 4-5 small cockroaches while there as well. Pictures are very deceiving online. I was embarrassed and disappointed that I booked our weekend away with our friends at this location.

There was so much remodel going on that we did not enjoy the stay. The hotel was super dirty, no breakfast, and the pool was closed. None of this was disclosed on the website while booking. Also, we did not have any hot water whatsoever. I usually never comment but this place was not good.

Dirty parking lot, dirty lobby, dirty bathroom, no room service between day 1 and day 2, no coffee cups or water cups in the room, no coffee at front desk - cold coffee in the carafe, over all no one has spent a dime on improvements or maintenance in years. Spend the extra to stay somewhere else.

Property is run down. Bugs In the room. Zero hot water in the shower. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through and back up early to get on the road. I would def not recommend this property until they renovate it.

I typically don't expect much from a hotel and rarely give bad reviews but I am a bit bug-phobic and I did see a roach in the bed I was sleeping in on the day I was checking out. It was alive and well and running around and slipped under the blanket while I was watching. I had seen one on my door frame before that but I naively assumed that they weren't actually in my room and that one looked half dead so I thought the bug control was in full effect or I would've checked out immediately. It's the one thing that is a deal breaker for me. I did notice the pool had no water and other things weren't maintained but I could've lived with that but not the roach in the bed. I am now scared I might've brought home bed bugs though I haven't seen any yet - I know it takes time to see the evidence. So disheartened. :-(
