This was our first trip to Clearwater. So our first time at this hotel. We loved everything about it. Our room overlooked the ocean so we got to see all kinds of marine life: dolphins, manatees, sting rays. Up close. It was awesome. No need to charter a boat. We will be back and we highly recommend.

Very decent property. Pleasant esthetic, large pool plus separate 'infinity pool overlooking water. Didn't like the mandatory "amenity fee" $38/day. This was not made clear at booking and comes off as bold face rip-off since the package is nonrefundable. This may be a common practice but we were not aware of it until checkin. It did include parking which did appear in line with other properties in the area. Also included a pass to a water park which was fun.

Gulf views from the balcony were spectacular. Breakfast buffet was just continental breakfast. No proteins and all cold foods other than toast. Overall a great property. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be at the beach.

Unfortunately, when I first arrived into my room, there were half filled drinks sitting in my room. There were two soaking wet towels thrown on the bathroom floor. I called the front desk to let them know about the issues and they sent someone up to take a look at it. After they took a look at it, and sent House Cleaner up to the room who wanted to know what I needed. So much for communication. The room itself had stained carpets. parking was great, I was lucky enough to have a room that was right across from a door that led to the parking lot. The restaurant on the 10th floor could use some help with an upgrade or at least fix the tables and chairs. The staff at the restaurant acted like they didn’t care. The staff at the breakfast were really nice though the food itself was OK for the first couple days, but after that, it was boring. I was surprised that there was no Beach and barely any access to the water. The pools were OK. the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.

The Edge Hotel delivered on all criteria that mattered to us. We are already planning our return trip!! We wanted a water front, water view room (not one with the road between us and the water like so many hotels in Clearwater), we wanted a fitness room on site, a tiki / pool side bar and out door dining. We got all of that and enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week. Some comments mentioned that the hotel was a "long walk" to the beach; we ventured to the beach daily and it wasn't more than a 3 min walk. Some comments complain about the parking fee, however we appreciated that the parking was only charged to people with cars (not rolled into the general price of the room) and was the going rate for parking at the beach. Parking is limited and the charge is the fair going rate. Some people complained about the amenity fee, which we found to be reasonable given we had daily housekeeping and towel exchange, there is a delightful gift shop on site and the grounds were kept very clean. Some people complained about the breakfast- the breakfast was basic but the hotel doesn't specialize in breakfast, so I wouldn't expect more- there were cereals and yogurts and breads, and if you wanted something more than that there are options within walking distance. We had a very good time walking on the beach to enjoy our dinners at the various options- all of them are within about a mile and the sandy beach walk made the experience all the more wonderful. We loved our week at the Edge!.

Nice hotel - beautiful pool, comfortable beds, clean, and great parking. Location is very walkable with the beach, shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel laundry and gym were clean and not busy when we were there. The gift shop was stocked well and not ridiculously priced - plus the lady working there was so nice and very helpful. My ONLY negative feedback is that the breakfast provided was primarily all carbohydrates and they didn’t have cartons of milk for drinking, only pitchers for cereal which I thought was a little odd. We ate there most days because it was sufficient, just a heads-up if you’re needing a more balanced meal.

The hotel is in an amazing location to walk around. The view was beautiful!! Justin our outside bartender & Noah at the front desk made us feel so welcomed with amazing service. Breakfast was the only thing I wasn’t impressed with for what you pay to stay there. Overall we will go back!!!!!

Checked in just after 9pm and asked for/needed water. Everything is shut down and they don’t even have change at the front desk for the vending machines. Forced to walk 20 minutes to find water. Crazy

Wonderful stay! Clean rooms and beautiful views! Easy walk to beach and restaurants! Only complaints- the resort fee was high for such a pitiful “breakfast buffet,” the elevators were strange and took a little time to get used to, and there is no beach in front of this hotel. It’s an easy walk to Sandy beaches but it’s roped off and rocky right in front of this hotel.

Towels, pillows, beds were terrible, air conditioner was SO LOUD,pool was nice, tiki bars and staff nice as well. Would not allow late check out- an hour would have been nice since i told her my flight wasn't until 4 pm.

The staff was very kind, They were also helpful with recommendations on where to go to eat for specific options. Pool was clean, and very minimal trash around the area.

rooms were cleaned daily and when we had a plumbing issue fixed promptly. staff was pleasant. id recommend if you asked.

Didn’t care much for the way they operated the bar….opened late….no music on the pool deck until the bar is opened. Had an issue with a charge at the bar…no manager to resolve it… however they did take care of it…just made resolving the issue a little cumbersome. This being said I would stay again and would recommend.

Strange layout. I took some getting used to the Lobby being on the 6th floor with guest rooms on floors 2 to 5 and 7 to 10. Besides checking in, you never had to pass through the lobby in the normal course of staying there. Overall nice hotel. Could use an investment in bath towels - felt like we were drying off after a shower with oversized napkins.

The place all and all was fine however the carpets were old and not very well maintained. The staff were very nice and the room was quiet. The rooftop restaurant bar was very nice but the food was average. The hotel was very easy to get in and out of.

I just completed a stay today at Edge. Overall the experience was good. The property is in a great location and is very walkable to most of things. Pool area is nice. Has a bar at the pool and a rooftop bar and restaurant. Room was comfy with a pool and ocean view. There are areas of the property that could use a bit of TLC but overall it was a great choice. My only gripe is that the photos on their website would lead you to believe they have a beach. They do not. It is on the water with a great view but no beach
