“Good parking. 5 minute walkninto lladudno centre. Clean room and bathroom. Well stocked tea tray. Chiller in room. Good selection to choose from at breakfast. Lovely dining room and lounge. Outside seating. Dan and Wei are superb hosts who clearly take pride in their lovely hotel.”

“I had the smallest room (I was told) in the Belmont - no. 107, I think - just big enough for a single bed and a tall, slim wardrobe, so it was a squeeze to position the table with the kettle next to a plug; ie, at the foot of the bed below the TV screen. Probably not the safest place for steam. However, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and does have a bathroom with a bath + shower. No view except to the wall of the adjacent building. Averaged about £70/night, breakfast not...

“The fridge was to close to the bed. Noisey at night. Also the plug to the kettle was too short. When the kettle was lifted up the base would fall to the ground. They also need to get their phone lines sorted,because you can't get through to them at all.”

“TBH the location and staff is amazing. The biggest problem is the property itself. I am not a difficult person, I can tolerate broken fan, terrible WiFi, falling curtains (which all happened within 10 mins of my arrival, now I look back it might be a sign) because the staff tried their best to help with these issues. What I cannot tolerate is in the middle of my shower, the tab went broken and the water went boiling hot and burned me terribly. I have to wait for the help with soap all over me,...

“Stayed 1 night with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Lovely clean hotel Poilte staff Nothing is too much for them. I asked for an iron and hairdryer, within minutes it was at my door!!! Nice touch with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Very close to all local amenities Shame they were fully booked or I would have stayed another night.”

“The bed in room 8 was very spongy. So much so that it was difficult to turn over without bouncing out of the bed! Poor night's sleep. Amenities...bathroom with the toilet so close to the basin you can rest your chin on it! Plenty of room to adjust! Poor value for money.”

“Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room a bit small for a kingsize deluxe - a tiny gap between the bed and the wall on one side to get into it which was a bit ridiculous and the shower trap was not clean. Location is great, and nice stroll into the centre. Lovely sitting out the front for a drink in the evening and dinner was great in the restaurant.”

“Awfull Hotel..No staff , the Reception was manned by a Latvian guy who couldn't understand a word of English,and also miserable,Shouldn't be working in a hotel reception..The bar was closed dus to No hotel staff Our room was small an not intended!!! for a couple,more so for a single person, the so called Double bed was a 4ft bed not a full double 4ft6. my feet stuck out the end! Though the room was clean it just wasnt worth the price we paid ..for 2 nights.. The bathroom was also very small...

“I loved the quirky old worldiness of the hotel. I loved that the family room had a tower in it, which separated our sleeping area from our sons and the views were spectacular. The breakfast was lovely too. I know there is nothing the hotel can do about it but parking was very difficult near the hotel, and we had to park at the bottom of the hill, which was difficult as I am disabled and found it hard to keep going up and down the steep hill.”

“We were really happy with the staff,they are super helpful. The reception staff,dining room even the cleaners are bright and willing to help in any way. They always have time to sort a query large or small. Thank you for being so welcoming....we will be coming back to Bryg-Y-Don.”
