“Good things: breakfast was okay. Juanita was very helpful and empathetic. Bad things: weekend manager and front desk was unhelpful, full of excuses, and blamed the customers for faults of the hotel. Sheets had a stain that we asked to be changed immediately, which wasn’t taken care of til we asked 3 times. An ant infestation was never taken care of, and we somehow transported ants into our cars. We couldn’t find the tv remote, and the staff blamed us. We were given a key to a room that was...

“The hotel was located on the outskirts of the area I was visiting and offered a very budget-friendly option, which was exactly what I needed. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The front desk clerk went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. “We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...
