The owner tended bar and cooked later in the evening. A very friendly and accommodating fellow and we did enjoy the restaurant. We stayed in a room with 3 twin beds that were quite uncomfortable and strange large square pillows. The wifi was not adequate.

Die Informationen aus dem Internet decken sich nicht mit den Gegebenheiten. Was ausgesprochen unangenehm auffiel, war beim Öffnen der Eingangstür der Muffige ,abgestandene Geruch,der sich bis ins Treppenhaus nach oben durchzog. Die Zimmer waren zwar sauber und ordentlich,aber es war einiges defekt. Die Kopfkissen waren wohl schon zu häufig gereinigt worden,sodaß Klümpchen im Inlett waren.Dadurch konnte man sehr schlecht liegen.Tipp:Vielleicht das eigene Kopfkissen mitbringen. Personal war sehr freundlich.

Da kein Personal vor Ort war musste man telefonieren um Schlüsselzugang zu bekommen was nur indirekt funktionierte da znser Schlüssel nicht dort hing. Das Problem wurde aber schnell behoben

Überzeugender Familienbetrieb

Der Gasthof zum Siegburger bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das betrifft sowohl die Unterkunft als auch die Gastronomie. Zwar ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer teilweise etwas rustikaler, aber insgesamt bekommt man eine sehr ordentliche Leistung für einen sehr angemessenen Preis. Das Essen ist richtig gut - vor allem Speisen mit der selbstgemachten Hollondaise kamen bei meiner Gruppe sehr gut an. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist etwas einfach (nur eine Art Brötchen, nur eine Art Frucht, insgesamt überschaubare Auswahl), aber bei einem Preis von 8 EURO pro Person dennoch ein gutes Paket - zumal Eier und Sonderwünsche erfüllt werden auf Nachfrage. Einziger kleiner Wermuthstropfen ist, dass das Gasthaus zentral in Stralen liegt und dort abends eben auch eine gewisse Aktivität vorliegt - die Straße ist zwar recht ruhig, die nahegelegene Innenstadt wird aber von recht lärmintensiven Jugendlichen genutzt, zudem hat auch die eigene Kegelbahn ein Publikum, das auch nach 22 Uhr nochmal laut sein kann. Insgesamt aber absolut eine Empfehlung!

Guter Aufenthalt!

Schöner Gasthof, meinerseits weiter zu empfehlen. Ich hatte im Haus 2 ein schönes, großes Zimmer, sauber, mit einem großen und komfortablen Bad mit super großer Dusche. Da das Zimmer direkt an der Straße lag und morgens der Bautrupp startete, wäre das nichts für Langschläfer gewesen - mich hat es nicht gestört. Freundlicher Check-In, sehr nettes Personal - alles gut!

Das Hotel hat alles, was es braucht. Einfach, aber völlig ok. Sehr gut ist, dass man bis 00:00 Uhr einchecken kann. Einzig die Dame, die das Frühstücksbuffet bediente, war relativ unfreundlich. Da kann man aber getrost drüber hinwegsehen, jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag! ;-)

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer schlicht und recht dunkel, aber das Bett war gemütlich. Für einen kurzen Geschäfts-Aufenthalt absolut ok. Gut angebunden und kostenfreier Parkplatz vor der Tür.

Gutbürgerliches Hotel mut freundlichem Ambiente.

Mit einer Freundin auf dem Rhein-Maas -Camino zu Fuss unterwegs, war das Hotel "Zum Siegburger " genau richtig. Sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Aufnahme, alle Hygieneregeln wurden eingehalten . Das Zimmer sauber und mit Klimaanlage. Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig.
