"Great couple poles get away location for someone looking for a relaxing weekend. It is furly close to many of the main attractions in the area, but still far away from the busyness. It is walking distance from a fair grounds where they have a lot of events over the summer. Be aware that although it's not a smoking hotel rooms, guests staying in rooms with balcony are allowed to smoke."

"At the edge of Helen, but up a hill, this location was great, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It looked like (from the unmoved stack of building materials) there is some kind of renovation or repair in the near future. The pool is a bit small, but indoor, and great for the family that can catch it unoccupied! Breakfast (included) was much better than most. Good cross of all kinds of normal breakfast offering. If you’re a first timer to Helen, this hotel is a comfortable walk to only a few of the shops/ restaurants. Helen is very small, so it’s not like you will be driving far- but you need to know that most public parking is $10- flat rate for the hour or the day. There are some areas for free- these will be noted by a sign “City of Helen Parking”. Not always the best, but if walking is your thing, then this will be a no-brainer. I say all this because to get the full scope and character of Helen, you will probably want to drive from this hotel."

"The property was exactly as advertised. It was a great way to completely unplug. I'm glad I read all of the reviews, good and bad, as it helped with packing and planning. Bring a book, put your phone aside (as it will be useless), and enjoy the beautiful surroundings."

"The front desk and food service staff were wonderful. The location is fabulous, literally right next to the train and in the heart of downtown. Breakfast and rooftop bar were great. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. I never post bad reviews but I was disappointed. The floors in the room were just plain dirty. I would stay there again, but they need to improve the housekeeping. Other grounds in the hotel were spotless, it’s just the room."

"This is a great hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located to all sorts of shopping and eateries. Breakfast is free, plentiful and very good. And the fresh-ground coffee is the BEST! I have been here before and will definitely come again!"

"It was pretty much what we expected for the price. It wasn't anything luxurious or upgraded, but it offered good value, and we were satisfied with our stay. The housekeeping staff was especially sweet and friendly. The breakfast staff, on the other hand, seemed a bit cold and not as welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed the stay."
