The Foxes Den is a perfect place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully designed and well equipped. The restaurant provided excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was run very efficiently by a great team of staff.

Comfortable and quiet

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed. Nice and quiet, very good breakfast. Only thing is for food in the evening there is nothing very near so I drove 4 miles into Sudbury.

Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away.

A lovely warm, comfortable, spacious suite, well furnished and equipped and hosted by friendly, professional owners. The hot tub , looking out on to beautiful countryside views was a delight and the cooked breakfast was excellent! We will be staying again!

The Foxes Den was great

Hard to find any fault with our really enjoyable stay, the country environment & location is lovely. Very warm welcome to our cosy comfortable & well presented accommodation. The breakfast & coffee at The Foxes Den was superb & can see why it’s also popular with locals. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent experience

We loved our stay here as the room is very comfortable. We slept very well, the shower is powerful and quickly gets to temperature, there is a good selection of quality teabags, coffee and hot chocolate. The breakfast was better than expected because the the website indicated an included continental breakfast but we had a choice of the full breakfast range. There was delicious yogurt with fresh berries and a wide range of cereals. There are two pubs 2 minutes drive away, superb for an evening meal.

Overall good experience however the following are points to note. If you are expecting to have coffee or something to eat other than breakfast, do not stay on a Monday or Tuesday as it is closed, had to drive offsite 10 minutes to get something. The toilet in my room didnt flush very well. The TV is not up to current standard. The walkway slabs are uneven. The blinds on the door window do not keep the light out from the outside light which stays on throughout the night. Service and breakfast were amazing!
