"Lovely property, tranquil staff, fun Fiji night celebration weekly. Free activities daily, also boat snorkeling as no reef out front, but side beach had a reef. Great food with partial meal plan chosen. Staff staff staff rocks!"

"This is my happy place. I rarely go back to places I've already been, but I came back this year after a fantastic stay last year. The offshore snorkeling here is the best I've ever experienced. I love the beachfront bures and private outdoor showers. The food and overall vibe here is amazing. It's not fancy, but it is simple luxury."

"The Fijian people were wonderful! We spent only 3 nights as an add-on to a dive vacation so we snorkeled right off the beach and it was amazing! The reef was very healthy and saw plenty of fish, live soft coral and even a Crown of Thorns starfish. We stayed in the beachfront villa and was very happy with everything, the aircon, outdoor bathroom and the front deck. The only notable discomfort was the sharp tile around the shower. Food in the restaurant was very very good and with plenty of variety. Portions were generous the fresh drinking water was delicious. WIfi was good in most parts of the resort, but I was there to unplug. The stairs leading to the restaurant were a bit challenging when it was raining so wear shoes with good traction. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape from the ratrace. "

The staff were outstanding—so warm, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to delivering five-star service. The food was absolutely amazing, with every meal exceeding our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable escape!"

"Mai sunset is the perfect resort for people wanting a quiet stay, where you feel like family. The daily snorkelling trips (which are included) are not to be missed! The coral around the island is especially colourful and can see incredible fish at different times. It's definitely the most alive coral reefs we've ever seen in Fiji. We also went on a manta ray trip, and although we weren't lucky enough to see rays - we had an amazing experience. The ladder on the boat might need to be replaced soon though! The rooms are a perfect size, the outdoor shower is divine and the rooms have a small fridge too. Every staff member we met made us feel like part of the family and we spent so much time chatting with staff and other guests. We were one of 5 or 7 people on the resort during our stay and it never felt too busy. We can't wait to return! Thank you Liddi, Paul, Elinoa, Male, Saku, Jay, Ami, Api, Venni, Rusi, John and all the wonderful staff that make Mai sunset the best destination in the Yasawa islands. "
