We pretty much liked everything about the hotel. It is right on the water front and the surrounding areas are just beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It would be nice if the had shower gel in the bathroom. They only provided shampoo.

Fantastisk beliggenhed med udsigt over Svendborg Sund fra restauranten og mange værelser. Det var ikke klart hvilke muligheder hotellet tilbød. Mange muligheder for gåture i den smukke natur.

Godt ophold - men ikke 4 stjerner

Hotellet er registreret som en 4-stjernet hotel, men det var ikke under vores opfattelse at det levede op til standarten for dette. Vi starter med de stjerner de fortjener: Rigtig flotte udearealer. Rene og vedligeholdte, og bygningerne passer rigtig godt til området, som ligger lige ved vandet. Dejligt store værelser. Fin med parkeringsplads og opladning til el-biler. Én stjerne for dette. De tilbyder fitness, play-lounge, eventlokaler. Dette fik vi desværre ikke benyttet os af, men de skal have én stjerne mere for at kunne tilbyde disse faciliteter. Der er gratis morgenbuffet, der var minimumskvalitet - ikke godt, men heller ikke dårligt - i deres tilknyttede restaurant som man kan booke bord til, hvis man vil spise frokost/aftensmad med udsigt ud til vandet. Én stjerne mere for dette. Men så heller ikke flere. Vores værelse, sengetøj, håndklæder, tæpper og møbler var støvet, og det lugtede som om at det var lang tid siden nogen havde været derinde. Ingen amenities som man ellers ser på 4-stjernet+ hoteller som strygejern, barbergrej, tandbørste/pasta med dertilhørende kop osv. Minibaren var helt tom, og der var ingen roomservice. Vi bestilte en pakke til vores hund, hvor vi blev lovet lån af hundekurv, mad- og vandskåle, hundeposer og en pose hundegodbidder. Vi fik én ud af fem ting - en hundekurv. Det var et rigtigt fint ophold, og personalet var som de skulle; men de små detaljer mangler at blive fulgt op på, så kommer vi op på de sidste stjerner.
