Nice Place to stay in Swakopmund
Nice place, great location, comfortable rooms and lovely view. I stayed in room 2 and it needs a little improvement in terms of fittings, a new safe and electrical point. Will definitely book at Atlantic Villa again in the future as the value for money was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Room for improvement
Nice hotel but lack attention to detail. Bathroom extremely small. Arrive few minutes before official breakfast time but was sent away yo wait. Signs and notices with school type of instructions everywhere. Not bad but can be made much netter without lot of effort..

Great hospitality from Debs and Michael; offered glass of vino on arrival, Lovely place to stay overlooking ocean. Only drawback is lack of restaurants within walking distance (Sundays only). Fantastic location for Durban airport, yet little airport noise.

Are you sure this review is about Atlantic Villa Guesthouse in Swakopmund? We don't have staff members with the names Debs & Michael. We are close to a view restaurants, within walking distance, The Wreck, Blue Grass, etc etc We are not near Durban Airport.

Really comfortable stay.
Great stay and staff very helpful. A small bit outside the town center but no problem as there is a great mall down the street.

Large rooms, close to the beach but not to downtow
The hotel is closely related to the beach and provided two large rooms (bedroom and living room). It is located a bit outside of Swakopmund. The breakfast buffet was good.

Absolutely loved it! Went there with my husband and he was really impressed by my choice. I would recommend for people looking for a relaxed holiday with walks along the beach.

More than we expected!
For the reasonable price, we thought we were going to have a typical hotel room. We were pleasantly surprised to find an equipped kitchen and sitting room. We also loved the fire that was always going in the bar area. Breakfast was delicious, and the front desk staff were wonderfully helpful — helped us book activities in the town and let us borrow a converter when ours didn’t work. We were very pleased with our stay!

Atlantic Villa is always a great boutique hotel to stay in Swakopmund. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean with comfortable beds and too quality linen. It is situated about 50m from the beach in the northern part of Swakopmind

Wonderful helpful staff, always cheerful and attentive who provided an excellent breakfast. We experienced several problems with our room which was down to its original design: there was no telephone or fridge, most switches and plugs were inside cupboards, no extractor fan in bathroom area and no independent control of bedside lamps. We reported several times that the light switch was faulty and the staff tried their very hardest to sort but to no avail. However this should not reflect on the outstanding quality of the staff.

Nettes Hotel mit moderner Ausstattung
Wir hatten einen 4-tätigen Aufenthalt gebucht um zu entspannen. Der Meerblick war super, wir hatten einen direkten Blick auf den Ozean. Das hotel befand sich in zweiter Reihe, was wir nicht erwartet haben. Was aber aus unserem Fenster dem Meerblick nicht im Wege stand. Das Zimmer war sehr modern ausgestattet, jedoch ist zu bemängeln, dass es keinenicht Kühlschrank im Zimmer gab, was sehr schade war angesichts der Tatsache, dass es keine Bar oder Restaurant (nur Frühstücksservice) im Hotel gab. Trotz der angekündigten Lounge und Barbeque etc gab es ausser Frühstück keinerlei Gelegenheit zur Verpflegung. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist das moderne jedoch offene Badezimmer. Die Toilette war nur durch eine Glasschiebetür vom Raum getrennt was leider keinen Geräusch- oder Geruchsschutz bietet, daher eher sehr unkomfortabel. Der Pool war leider auch sehr enttäuschend, winzig klein und nur über das Frühstücksraustarant zu betreten. 2 Liegen, die alles andere als einladend waren.

Great staff, huge/comfortable rooms, near beach
Room was huge - big bedroom, living room, and balcony - especially for the price. And very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that it is a little outside of town (have to take a cab, which is 40 namibian dollars or so). But it is right by the beach and an awesome restaurant (the wreck). Highly recommend.

SUPPERB ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICE!!!
A huge thanks to Landi and Zio for everything they did for us. They truly left no stone untouched to satisfy our every need. This was such a joyful experience! To our surprise, as we were running late, Landi even made a dinner booking for us before we arrived!! You can trust her recommendations on restaurants, she got full marks for our 5 day stay!! There was a small 'hick up' with our room booking (our misunderstanding) but with a smile on Landi's face it was sorted out within minutes. The room was exquisite and more than what we asked for. They truly go out of their way to make your stay a memorable experience. You are the BEST!!!

Wir haben dort für drei Nächte gewohnt und hatten ein wunderschönes, großes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und sein Geld wert. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, lediglich der Zimmerservice ließ zu wünschen übrig (Handbücher wurden vergessen, Kaffeepads nicht nachgefüllt, Putzen na ja..)

Swakop Oasis
5 star luxury stay. Easy to find and well sign-posted. It is ideally located with ready access to the beach and in a quiet residential area. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - making dinner reservations, suggestions of things to do, places to go. Thank you to Londie for superb hosting. Will be back.

Good Value for money
A very last minute trip, so we didn't do much research. Was a pleasant hotel. The room was nicely furnished, the only drawback is that the its open plan, as a result when you shower the entire place is covered in steam and runs down the walls and the windows and takes overnight to dry out even with the doors open. The shared areas are well maintained and well decorated. The seaview is off to oneside. Breakfast is average but served in a rather lovely dining area with attentive staff. Although a bit out of city centre, the town is small, so it didn't matter. Also most expeditions operate on a pick up and drop off service.Staff at reception are very helpful in assisting with these trips.Would definitely recommend

Swakopmund at ist best - what a surprize!
We are regular visitors to Swakop, and booked at Atlantic Villa for the first time. What a wonderful suprize - luxury accommodation, staff who were both friendly and sincere, and quality finishes. We could not have asked for more. Not only was the unit spacious, the lounge area offers great athmosphere, and is a lovely way of spending evenings next to a fire relaxing, reading and (as we had to) working. This was the best price to performance ration we experienced in Swakopmund - and during our whole trip to Namibia and South Africa.

Hotel mit wenig Charme
Hotel etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum aber nicht weit vom Stand. Es hat einen kleinen Pool. Die Einrichtung besonders beim Frühstück ist sehr kühl und nüchtern. Es ist nur ein Restaurent in der Nähe welches sehr gut ist, für alles weitere braucht man ein Auto.

Modern hotel in old-fashioned Swakopmund
The hotel is at the border of town and far from the city center (there is a shuttle service 3 times a day) and next to The Wreck restaurant which is by the sea. The rooms are very modern and upmarket. The tap over the basin was set too far back and hardly reached over the basin. A little table in the room and maybe a bar fridge to keep some basics cold (most travellers through Namibia travel with a cooler bag - but their main business is probably conferences) would have been nice, but they were happy to put our stuff into their fridge in the kitchen. The doors are made of aluminium and glass and all noise travels through. We were there for 2 nights while touring Namibia and it was fine.

Nice location just outside of town
We stayed at The Atlantic for three nights. It is a middle to upper class establishment directly on the beach and about a 10 minute drive from the city center. The rooms are clean and roomy enough for two, with plenty of opportunities from personal or communal balconies to enjoy the sunset. The neighborhood is quiet and seemed more than safe.

It was fabulous...the room was ultra contemporary, large windows and sliding doors to own deck. Across the street from the ocean with panoramic views. Wonderful breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.

L'accueil de bienvenue manque singulièrement de chaleur et est plutôt administratif. Le petit déjeuner ne comportait pas de fruits frais pendant les 2 jours où nous avons séjourné et les victuailles étaient dispersées inopportunément sur 4 emplacements distincts. Dans la chambre au futurisme pas toujours très pratique, nous avons relevé plusieurs défauts: aucune aération de toilettes ni de douche, robinet ridiculement placé par rapport au lavabo, éclaboussures d'eau qui pouvaient s'écouler directement sur le sol via la paillasse ouverte sur l'arrière.² pas de poubelle de chambre. En revanche, le téléviseur est de bonne qualité et nous avons apprécié le café nespresso.

Schönes und komfortables Hotel in Strandnaehe
Das Hotel befindet sich ca.5 Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum von Swakopmund entfernt und ist sehr ruhig.Geraeumige Zimmer in modernstem Design. Exzellente Betten und sehr gutes Frühstück. Ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant (The Wreck) liegt 100m entfernt.
