Morning receptionist was rude :( , i got to the hotel late night, that receptionist was good but struggled to find my booking as systems were very slow . After entering data manually he was kind enough to give me room on 1st floor , and told me to go rest and he will charge the parking in the morning. This morning receptionist has no courtesy to even thank when i tell her that parking was not charged last nite but kept complaining that the other receptionist did not leave any notes . I showed her the picture of stained sheet and she is like ok not a problem instead of being apologetic. Budget IBIS are better in australia than this one as i now have stayed at 6 of them , this receptionist is the worst amojng all so far and they need to clean up the property as there is garbage pn the backside lying around on the backside where i parked my car

Stayed here for one night after a late finish at work and an early start the next day. Clean room, nice staff and a nice breakfast.

Conveniently located for north bound drivers a short drive to the M1, almost about 100 metres from MacDonalds and very quiet. Although it's on Pennant Hills Road with the northern train line about a couple of hundred metres to the rear, we wouldn't have known if we hadn’t seen the trains.

I was charged for more than $300 for one night and the room is so small and old. The management didn't bother to renovate the room. The bed sheets smells very bad. Check your bed sheets often. I will never book to all ibis again your service sucks!

The staff here are amazing. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with suitable facilities for our stay here. Easy access to train station and parking was easy here too.

Good budget hotel
This is a reasonable budget-style hotel in Sydney’s north. There is a good-sized shopping centre, restaurants and Thornleigh train station in walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good place if you don't care about the food
Close to train station, comfortable beds, quiet location. Crappy menu downstairs though.... There was ham/bacon in almost every item too... Not halal friendly.

It is convenient coming into Sydney from the north along the M1 . Also easy to get into the city and out again on the M2.

The rooms and the bathroom are small but this is typically what you get with an Ibis hotel - and so as long as you are aware of this it is no surprise. Good location for the region, easy to get to and has the benefit of a bar and breakfast facilities downstairs.

Good location and great staff
The room we had this time did have both a bench seat and a desk chair which gave us options other than the bed which was very comfortable. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for what we had to do over the days when we were staying.

Very good customer service. No option for additional blankets in room so bit cold overnight. Breakfast a few fruit items were off but other options availiable.

Staff were all very helpful, but the hotel itself is very tired and in need of an update. my room had a damp smell to it and the fridge was loud all night. It was OK for what I needed, but wouldn’t be returning.

The room was very small & furnishings old & tired. Bare essentials in the room with no extra pillows or blankets. Bathroom was dirty & felt like a temporary pod had been stuck in the corner of the room. Nothing inviting about the room at all. Had a late dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was awful. The fish was supposedly barramundi & I checked first that it was fresh, not frozen; the staff assured me it was fresh. Arrived and was clearly not fresh. Tasteless fish & hard chips, definitely not worth the $26 per meal. Staff then denied saying that they had told me the fish was not frozen! Would never stay there again and don’t recommend it.
