"The location to the airport is excellent but the reception staff were unwelcoming, unfriendly and didn't even smile! Plus I'd booked a "Double Queen sized room - Superior" and the window looked out at a carpark and more rooms only! A miserable outlook, making me thankful that I was only staying over night to catch my next flight. The room was actually hot when I arrived, so I needed to turn the aircon on freezing/high - the room did cool fairly fast but surely they should have had this cooled before my arrival at 9pm at night! The condition of the room/amenities/cleanliness/other facilities, and particularly location to airport was great."

"Overall, I had a good stay at this property. The location is right next to the Chinatown light tram stop, and close to Central and Town Hall train stations - plus numerous bus stops so it is very easy to get around. Also countless restaurants and stores nearby - many Thai and Asian as it's located in Thai town. The room was as advertised, spacious and had everything I expected. I did have some trouble figuring out the laundry - a sign noted you had to turn the switch on the wall on to use (which I expected) but there were also switches on the outlet the machines were plugged into which had been turned off and were hiding behind the ironing board. Once I figured that out, laundry functioned just fine - but a heads-up to others traveling from places where outlets don't have switches to check this! After staying at other Meriton properties in Australia, this one seemed older and my room was a bit musty/mildewy which set off my allergies a bit - but it did have everything I needed and I was still happy with my choice for this trip. "

"We let them know our flight landed at 9am and they had our room ready when we arrived. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The amenities were great. The location was walking distance to everything, including all area transportation options, including the cruise port. Breakfast was an amazing assortment and delicious. We will definitely stay again if we travel to Sydney again. "

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only comment is no access to toilets at the wet deck. They were through at the bar and then the bar had into not come in wet. Very strange! Also that the wet deck closed at 5:30. That was a shame! We couldn’t enjoy it. "

"It’s a fine place for a few nights a little run down and the room we were in was small perfect for us as we just used it to sleep in. However if you are going to spend time in the room get a bigger room. Place def could use a refresh, just felt a little tired. location was good we were able to walk everywhere we needed or wanted to go "

"Overall a good stay; but mom was unexpectedly locked out of the room (917) on the morning of checking out at 10:30 when the checkout time was officially 11am. My family was fortunately rescued by a staff passing by - it seems unreasonable to have the system deactivate the key cards before the checkout time. "
