This was a horrible experience. First, I did not get the room I paid for ahead of time. When I checked in, I was told if I didn’t want what they have that I can cancel my booking. I advised the price I paid was more than what they were offering. Nobody offered to refund my difference. I asked for extra pillows.. 90 minutes later, having gotten no pillows, I went back out to ask again and told him I would wait there as he went to get some. He handed me the pillows and I asked if I could get pillowcases.. he said “you want those too?” Last I knew they go hand in hand. Kind of like toilet paper in a bathroom. The floors were filthy, beer caps, food, soap bars. Etc. my husband had to fix our sink and our room phone didn’t work, not even a dial tone. The desk was advised of these as well. Went to take a shower, and the soap bar had been used and put back into the wrapper!! In two days, there were no happy guests, there were numerous complaints that we witnessed, and we watched one by one as they went across the street to the other hotel. They chuckled and smiled at every issue, but never wanted to make our experience better. I am mortified that I paid all that money, and got the worst possible service. Their groceries got delivered and sat on the floor out front for over 4 hours before we left for the day. Including milk and other items. Do not use those to make your coffee as you may get sick! Never again will I stay there and I will continue to let people know how it is there.
