"A most charming place to stay nestled in the hills of the Massif Central, this was formerly the village school house and retains many original features. Dinner was provided by the hosts and was particularly well received. Breakfast was basic but no less delicious for that."

"Hotel was well placed for an overnight stopover. Staff were lovely. Room was clean and well appointed however the shower was a little small for me. The only real disappointment was the breakfast - it doesn't live up to the photos shown on the Expedia website - you have a croissant and a pain au chocolat on a plate, a small glass of juice and a coffee ... that's it."

"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "We found it difficult to enter the hotel when we arrived. Although the room can best be described as adequate it was far from welcoming , the staff were good at there jobs but again not welcoming. The best is adequate and to say we won’t stay there again says it all."

"Première réservation avec Hôtel.com. Extrêmement déçu, les 2 nuits nous ont couté 40% plus cher que le tarif affiché dans la chambre. Nous n'avions pas encore connu cela avec d'autres sites de réservation en ligne. De plus nous pensions être dans un hôtel or il s'agit d'une chambre d'hôte réservée plutôt à des pèlerins, literie en mauvais état. Accueil strict, poli mais sans considération normalement attendue pas des touristes."
