hi citizen, We are sorry to know that you didn't have a pleasant stay here. However, we double checked with your reservation and found that you booked for "no view" rooms. These are rooms that facing with other building and of course, at a lower price. There's no connected no view rooms on the same floor, we only had one no view room at each floor and that's the reason why we couldn't help you and your friends/family to arrange the rooms on the same floor. As for the stairs, we called it "escape ladder". In case of the emergency case, the stairs you walked could only walk toward the first floor for all the citizens safety. Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience. We do hope to see you again to create more unforgettable memories in Taipei! Cheers!
