  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

Great stay. All of the reception staff were super friendly and helpful in every way possible. Breakfast ( both Chinese and Western) was really fine. I’d gladly stay there again.

I had a problem with my travel plans and had to book 2 rooms last minute. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms were very nice. The location is perfect and shopping is just a block away. It was my daughter’s birthday and they gave her a little cake and beautiful card. She was so touched by the thoughtfulness. Staying here is one of the best memories of our 3 wk trip.

This hotel was a great choice as our first hotel in our Taiwan trip. It is so close to Taipei central station and other MRT stations which made travel around the city very easy as well as convenient. The staff were all very pleasant and kind, I even received a birthday card as well as cake as we arrived a day after my birthday. The breakfast was pretty good and offered some variety. The room was very spacious, the beds very comfortable and everything was kept very clean.

We enjoyed the physical facilities and would congratulate you on the willingness and pleasantness of the staff. However I think the language was a big problem (english) and would encourage the administration to provide English speaking lessons to achieve.excellence. It is in a good location near department stores and restaurants and therefore should succeed.
