  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

Only stayed two nights. The breakfast was good, customer service was amazing, Clean and quiet room despite there’s a crack on the wall and bidet was a bit old. I will definitely stay there again!

not bad overall, but I really don't like the smell of the lobby, it's like smelly washroom, the location is another disappointment to me, it's far away from the crowd, there's only 7-11 and family mart to hangout if you feel hungry at night, the closest restaurant is at least 15mins away(walk). it's more a commercial area than tourists area. the room it's fine for me, you can watch youtube/netflix inside, the bed it's two single bed combined, bathtub was nice, AC is enough. if you want to have a quiet place to stay, this is a great option.

Room was very clean, staff were super helpful. A couple of things though, there was only 1 washing machine for the whole hotel, so the room was pretty much always occupied (but the staff did mention that this upcoming year they may be getting an extra washing machine). Also the wifi in our room was extremely slow, so we had to use data the whole time. Other than that, fantastic stay, very comfortable rooms, very clean all around.

It is at a great location, easy walking to the subway station. There are lots of small restaurants around. The room Is clean and quiet. They provide water fountain and self-laundry service. Even in the laundry room, you are able to watch TV to wait it done. Also the best part is the free breakfast. The food is fresh and delicious. Recommend!!

The hotel was very average at best for the price point. I expected more from a 4 star hotel. Service was average, breakfast was average, the gym was very small and lacking. One positive is the cleaning staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. The rest of the staff were not friendly.
