Our experience was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff is so friendly while handling our requests. We enjoyed the free coffee and relaxing in the balcony and common area. I especially appreciate the convenient location. I needed to buy an extra carryon bag to bring home all my souvenirs, and was happy to find the many home goods stores right around the corner.

Overall, this hostel was very clean and well kept! The front desk was very friendly, and the breakfast meal vouchers had a lot of great local options nearby. Wifi was fast and reliable, and the common area is a great place to hang out with filtered water, coffee, and tea included. 10/10 would recommend staying here for a solo trip!

This is a great place to stay. Staff were welcoming, super friendly, and helpful. The communal areas were nice and it’s very convenient getting to the main train station. I’d easily stay here again.

I stayed at Meander 1948 as part of a longer trip. I cycled around the entirety of Taiwan, starting and ending in Taipei with Meander 1948 as my “base”. The staff is lovely. They even agreed to keep my (quite literally) enormous bicycle suitcase while I was cycling. Free of charge.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Taipei Main Station. I stayed in an 8-person shared room for a few hours due to a flight delay. However, if you are a light sleeper or have never stayed in a dormitory before, I would advise against the shared rooms. Guests come and go at different times, which can make it difficult to get any sleep.
