Nice location on the lake, but old facilities not as clean as expected. 2 star accomodations. Poor parking, had to park off in muddy field. TV did not work.

Still closed but taking non-refundable bookings?
The place is still closed. Somehow i was able to book a non-refundable booking there. I tried reaching them for confirmation but the 3 phone numbers I was given didnt work or no answer. I also tried reaching them by email with no response. They finally responded 5 days later in instagram that they were closed one day before my reservation. I want my money back.

The room was clean. Checkin process was a pain and not efficient. There is no wifi in room. Christmas eve buffet was a disappointment as they ran out of food.

The wifi is bad, there’s a wifi but no connection . No telephone to reach the hotel staff. terrible stomach ache and diarrhea, I think the bottled water. But the room was nice and clean. Too expensive It does not meet my expectations !

Perfect getaway destination
Less than one and half hours drive from Manila, Club Balai is now my favorite weekend getaway destination in Luzon! We stayed in a premium room overlooking the gorgeous Taal volcano and lake. There is no in-room wifi which makes it perfect for family to bond. Safe location and tight security. Lots of trees for a breezy nature walk. Very relaxing and quiet surrounding. Beautiful houses too. We only had issue when ordering breakfast. The staff does not seem to understand the continental set and other breakfast sets which took more than 15 minutes just to get our orders correctly.

Rip off transportation beware!
All good, almost 5 star but no transport available. Any taxi service will take about 2 hours to arrive and cost $100 even for 1-2 kilometres. It is incumbent upon all serious hotels to make provision for their clients to travel not to rip them off like this.

Stayed here as we attended a wedding. The venue for the wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The ambience of the resort is nice and looks great in photos. The food was good and the service was good. However, it is outdated and dirty. We booked a room with a supposed view but was given a room on the ground floor; a view of the sidewalk and parked jet skis rather than the lake. The a/c controls were broken and the a/c was on full blast. They “upgraded” us to their veranda, but it was crawling in ants. The third room we moved to was on the third floor and it was decent. Breakfast buffet was decent and the pools were nice.

Really disappointed.
We got the wrong room and it was super uncomfortable. They wouldn’t make it right and also tried to charge us extra. Super disappointed.

Run down hotel and if you are unlucky like we were you get some rooms directly at the main road, very noisiy and no comfort - believe the good times are behind this hotel. Assume they have better and newer rooms - but would not stay there anymore.

Hotel room with a view
Everything was nice, except the fact that the lake is soo dirty and was not properly maintained. We were planning to do some water activities, but when we saw the water, we've changed our minds right away.

The kids had fun in the Aqua park. The staff were very kind & helpful. Pools were great. The food is also good. The room looks nice, we stayed in a loft. Beds were not as comfy. The A/C needs work, it wouldnt get cooler, we had to turn the fan.

peaceful and pleasant to stay. foods are more asians and its OK. pools are clean and big. surroundings is OK. staffs are courteous. parking area is OK waste water treatment plant from hotel is necessary before disposal to lake.

Nice view that's all
Check-in was ok though we spent about an hour to do it. No assistance to go to our room assignment rather, a map was given and we located it on our own. Room was big but there was nothing except for the beds. Cable connection was bad and the favorite shows of my companions were not available. No comfortable seating area inside the room. There was a small table with 2 chairs and it's situated near a leaking air conditioner. No foot rugs hence when you come from the pool/lake you will practically make the entire room wet. Also, when we arrived there were no towels provided. Called the reception/front desk a few times and until I was scolding the receptionist real hard that's the only time the towels arrived. The room given to us was near the water tank & pump, so the noise was really very very bad! Getting a good sleep was almost impossible. I wanted to transfer to another room but my parents who are already seniors were too tired so we just had to bear the noise. We stayed for 2 nights and they don't offer daily cleaning of the room. They just gave us a set of towels on our 2nd day. I asked for bottled water which the attendant never delivered to us. The pools were very nice. Their biggest pool was nice except that a bigger portion of the pool was deep so the people were concentrated on one area and 60% of the area was unoccupied since it's deep. Water quality at the aqua park will make you sick and will make you think twice to play.

No elevator in building for senior citizen to use. We were given 4th floor rooms. They limit free breakfast for 3 persons only even though we booked 4 person. The only free amenities is the pool the rest you have to pay

Lake water is dirty.. facilities sucks
First of all, i bookd a room on the first floor because my mom is 87 and she cant go up and down yhe stairs. But they put us in on yhe 4th floor. Its ok because they had an elevator. But in the room itslef, all the beds ar upstaurs so my mim had to ho up and down.. so no use. And they wouldn't let us transfer because they said its full. I paid 34k for that? Good thing nothing happened to my mom. Lake water is so dirty you wouldn't want to swim there. They should maintain the cleanliness of the lake. Its such a shame to foreigners to see that kind of water. Room was ok but there was no towels. ( had to ask for it.) AC in one room was not working. Oh my TV was not working. Curtains were a little bit dirty and they just made up a rod to hang the curtains so if we pull the curtains the rods would fall. NO HOT WATER . WATER WAS COLD. i was with my mom who us who again is 87 yrs old and she had to bear the cold water because they can't fix it. So dissapointing.. Good side, pool was big and not to crowded. Food was ok and affordable. They lack staff to attend to customers. Over all stay was dissappointing but we cnt do anything but just make the most out of the P34,000 pesos that i paid.

チェックアウトの時にクレジットカードが使えず、困った、日本の予約時に部屋に料理スペースがある部屋を電話で予約したにも、係わらず、１泊目の部屋は料理スペースはなく、現地で１泊変更してｍアデイショナルを支払い、宿泊した、で部屋の写真では料理キッチンがあるにも関わらず、解りずらい、差額は現金で支払ったので、どのように、エクスペデイアで対処するのか、現地に確認後、連絡してほしい、 部屋は快適でした。

Facilities are great but room is bad
The room given to us had cockroaches in the bathroom. No elevator, as it was on the 4th floor and location is at the very end of the resort. They were nice enough to transfer us to the 1st floor. Then again, there were termites on the bathroom door. Would have been a nice room. Good thing we had to stay for a night only. Maybe they have better and maintained rooms in other locations (I hope). But the facilities are great. My kids enjoyed the stay

Overcrowded and overrated
When we got there, there were 3 weddings and barely space to park and appreciate the surroundings. The receptionist just gave us a map and left us on our own to find the place which was not properly described. Tired and lost, we couldn't find any hotel staff to ask but had to call the number which was very difficult to contact.

Timeliness and subpar customer service
Booked our stay at Club Bali on Expedia but when we arrived at the hotel, they can't find our reservation so they made us wait outside for almost 2 hrs for a check-in. We are just waiting there under the heat of the sun for check-in with no updates and not even an apology from the staff. There is no sense of timeliness from the staff and they avoid answering questions. If you ask them one thing, they forget about it until you follow-up. Not only did we wait for 2 hrs for our room, when we got there - the room was a mess and has a lot of ants and dirty ceiling. The overall ambiance of the resort was nice but the sense of TIMELINESS and urgency is pretty much non-existent. Not even an apology or complimentary sorry for all the inconvenience we had. Flew 15 hrs to visit the the island but it was a disappointment.

There are some aspects of this hotel that were nice- like the hotel amenities and good location. The other aspects need improvement on. First of their staff- when at their restaurant, it takes forever to get someone’s attention and service is really slow. I would be still eating and having drinks and they would close up the bill while eating- it was really frustrating when I wanted to order more drinks and i would have the bill back to be corrected. Second, the room. yes it was clean for the most part, but our air conditioner emitted a very strange smell, the smell of mold. They probably don’t change out the filter every now and again so it gave that old moldy smell. The bathroom was okay- the glass door of the shower looks like it hasn’t been cleaned and can see old water markings. Water pressure was weak as well. It may be a good day trip place to go, but not for a long time stay

We stayed one night and the area is quite big. When we got to our room the space is quite ok but not well cleaned. The swimming pool was nice. but the beach area is dirty and not recommended for swimming. The great thing was the inflatable park that they have which my son really enjoyed. The rest is just normal and ok.

Nice hotel with cool location with view to the volcano where you can take a boat to and explore, we are happy with the stay exept for the food its bufe like and not Good at all
