No one answers the front desk I literally called like 10 times and no one answers and the property isn’t all that for a $100 deposit that wasn’t told to me on the website and I been left but they are still holding my money

The people at the front desk were rude and the front lobby was extemely hot. Also, I paid for an upgraded deluxe room and got just a standard room with an extremely small and very old TV, as well as realizing after hearing someone else pay for their room, that I overpaid $75 for the same room. Lastly, the free so called breakfast was non exsistent. It was basically a french toast machine and white bread, and the serving area and counter tops were very dirty. I do not te ommened this facility, and I do plan on contacting corporate.

Would not stay again. Needs upgrades for the price being high. No microwave in room. Towel rack broken. Garbage underneath both beds. Bathtub has rust spots. Mat in bathtub coming up. Mold underneath it. Wouldn't even rate this place.

The property needs major updates and more staff. My room smelled like it had been smoked in and when I advised the front desk he simply said i wouldn't be charged for it, it's supposed to be a non smoking hotel. The property is a bit over priced.

I have asked for a refund for my second night and really do not feel I should have been charged at all! No one, not even my worst enemy, sould have to stay there. It was extremely unsafe, dirty, and broken down.Do not sit or lie down without first checking the edge of the mattress. Ours had an inch long, coat hanger thick metal spike (part of the mattress edging) sticking up.My daughter got scratched on it. It could have been a much worse wound, but thankfully she (or none of us!) was just brushing past it and she did not sit right down! Service was horrible. La Quinta should not allow these people to run their hotel.

Almost every guest complained about the smell of the room, musty. Sheets are dirty unwashed and stained. Carpet is dirty in hallways and in the rooms. I felt unsafe when I arrived because of delinquents loitering outside drinking and smoking pot. Expedia, you need to dump this place off your website.

The check was very disorganized. the young lady on the desk was talking on the phone, and dealing with a guest issue at the same time. we requested a 2 double beds at the time I made a reservation. When we checked in I asked for a handicap room with a walk-in shower, due to the fact that my traveling companion both have bad knees. when we got to the room it was 1 double bed.my companion, and I do not sleep in the same bed. We had to take the traditional room. After a 3 hour drive I was very ready to take my shoes off. Upon taking my shoes off, and walking to the bathroom my socks were soaking wet, and dirty. The carpet was soaking wet.My companion had to put on her shoes everytime she got up to walk to the bathroom or anywhere else in the room. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When I got into my room I noticed it was still trash in the trash can from their last visit. I had only one flat ass pillow in the room and the water did not get hot what so ever & the WiFi was extremely trash - If you are looking for a hotel in the fairground area I’ll say look across the street holiday inn also it is a red roof inn what ever you do do not come here

When we arrived to check in was told we had to pay additional 100 depoist which paperwork doesnt show that just the receipt from my card charge . Which I'm concerned we probably wont never see again. When standing at the desk there was a male employee sitting down with a few other talking and laughing at another guest. The room smelled like a animal there was hair all over bed and towels.We eneded up going to walmart to buy new stuff to be safe and air freshners. Underneath the bed was someone's underwear and rose petals which we left for the next person because i wasnt touching that . The bathroom was horrible . Thank god for my husband the shower knob was broke and we couldnt turn it on when calling down stairs maintenance was already gone so he fixed it.Also the tub has a crack in it which you had to stand in the front becasue if not you felt like you was gonna fall in a hole . Whrn checking out another guest was also very upset and complaining things and they just said there wasnt nothing they can do about. We come to Tampa at least 2 to 3 times a year but never again will we stay here .

It was close to the Hard Rock Casino, but the motel was very dirty. The hallway carpet, in particular, hadn't been vacuumed, and that made a terrible first impression. It was also overpriced for what it offered.

We just needed a place to lay our heads and the price was very economical. Every staff person we talked to were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable enough. The bathroom ceiling did have a bit of mildew and some fresh paint would make it look more clean

We booked our stay assuming Wyndham had some sort of standards. The property was not properly maintained. Our room had several deficiencies: shower faucet didn’t work, sink stopper inoperative, mattresses made sleeping all but impossible. They are well past the replacement time. I would have a hard time endorsing LaQuinta and/or Wyndham Properties after this unacceptable stay. I’d give the property 1 Star. On the other hand, the staff was very accommodating, pleasant, helpful, and friendly. We are senior citizens and they offered to assist us with several situations like luggage and housekeeping. They get 5 stars and deserve better working conditions. Rant over. Thank You

This was the worst La Quinta we've ever stayed at. Our comforter had stains, the mattress had a very disgusting stain on the side, the rooms were dirty, hallway dirty. There was no hot water. Breakfast was a disappointment as well. We stayed here with family using 5 rooms. These issues were experienced across our entire party. Very over priced. I don't think we could be more disappointed.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in no hot water and was dirty staff didn’t fill supplies such as toilet paper and soap in the main bathroom and out of coffee during the breakfast. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel completely dissatisfied with the way I was treated. Will never stay in another La Quinta hotel again

We stayed here for the convenience to the fair grounds, staff were pleasant but the place is dirty and not kept up with. Opened the fridge in our room and it was covered in black mold, floors look like they’ve never seen a vacuum and tile in bathroom was very sticky.

The property is run down. The wall air conditioner was very loud. There was supposed to be breakfast…nothing was out but coffee and with that there was no sugar and barely any cream. I understand about the a deposit on hold but not for 5 to 6 business days 😳

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. When checking the beds prior to bringing my kids up to the room, all the linen had stains on them, one of the beds had a massive what looked like blood stain, checked an additional room and it was almost identical, except the bed had random wrappers in between bed and box spring and it looked like someone pissed on the bed, and the toilet wasn't even cleaned. Trying to get a refund was a joke but I wasn't leaving there without it and that's exactly what I got, makes me not want to ever book hotels a head of time so I don't have to deal with "cancellation policies". I was not the only one that had a bad experience their were multiple others in my same situation. My parents stayed their as well, but unfortunately they were not financially in a position to wait the 5-7 days for the money to return to their bank account and go get a different hotel room.
