"Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Bathroom fan was quite loud, as well as the room heating was quite loud. Nice that they have a pool and exercise room."

"They could of had more of a selections for breakfast. Not much protein provider. The room we got, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well. There was someone’s hair in the bottom of the shower floor. White out on the toilet set. Ink pen marks over the bathroom sink. Not enough towels were we needed to ask for nore. The Capet I. The hall ways were old dirry and stained We were up most of the night due to pwople partying and playing hockey in the hall ways To top it off, there wasn’t even got water to shower in the morning. It was a dispointing stay! The olny good thing was the pool"

"It is a very old motel, it looks ok outside the building but inside is terrible. I went in, front desk is too slow, he asked too much questions, guest names and all. Also, the smell is bad. It smells someone pooped and did not flush the toilet. Good thing, the room doesn’t smell at all. It is very old, bathroom is rusty, table is super old. Bed is making a sound and springy type. It is not comfortable at all. When you shower, it is making loud sound. Not a great experience. "

"We chose this hotel because Best Western markets itself as clean, safe, and family-friendly, with amenities like pools and breakfast. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect that standard. This is my second concerning experience with Best Western. During a previous stay at Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, there were hazards including a protruding nail and unsafe pool conditions that led to a child being injured. This stay was worse. A staff member knocked and entered our room before I could respond while I was inside with my children and half dressed. This was a serious breach of privacy and safety. The room itself felt unsafe. The bathtub tap came off in our hands, flooring had visible gaps and uneven areas that could easily cause a fall, and electrical outlets were loose. We were moved to a second room, however the conditions were similar, indicating this was not an isolated issue. Cleanliness was unacceptable. There was thick dust throughout, and we found visible blood stains on the comforter that appeared to have been previously marked but not removed. The pool area showed clear water damage and maintenance concerns. Overall, this property appears poorly maintained, with patchwork repairs creating additional hazards. This environment is not consistent with Best Western’s values or a family-friendly brand and is hazardous to both guests and employees."

"The hotel was very loud with kids knocking on doors all night . We were told our floor had no hockey kids and was not true and at 10 pm quiet time it was midnight and kids running around staff just laughed "
