"Amenities were nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was medicore. Nothing special but adequate. My only tiny complain is we gathered in the lobby with some friends and it was so hot. They wouldn't turn the AC on and it was 80 plus outside so quite warm and no where to sit outside so it made it quite uncomfortable to socialize."
"We had a double room for 1 night and I slept like a baby. Air conditioner & Showers worked well and the breakfast was pretty good. Check in/out was easy. One of the double beds my kids used was a little dirty, but I would recommend again"
"We ended up not staying. It really was not a good place. The people loitering outside and the location did not appear to be a place I wanted to be, but we already had our reservation. While we were checking in the man in front of us had a reservation but he was told that they did not have it. He booked another room and he was told that it was a room someone had smoked in before and he was handed a can of Lysol. The man asked what the Lysol was for and was told to cover up the smell of the smoke. We checked in next and walked into the room and it smelled like smoke covered up by a cheap room spray. When we asked for a different room we were told there is no other room.
Not a good place to stay"
Extended Stay America Select Suites - Peoria - North
2/10 Terrible
"The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they were honestly the best part of our stay. Check-in was smooth and they treated us kindly throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very outdated and did not meet our expectations. The hallways had a strong musty smell mixed with cigarette smoke, which made the environment feel unpleasant from the moment we walked in.
Our room also needed a lot of attention and maintenance. Some of the furniture was broken and everything just felt old and worn down. Overall, the hotel could really benefit from updates, better cleaning, and general upkeep. While we appreciated the kindness of the staff, the condition of the property made our stay disappointing."

6/10 Okay
"I’m an easy going guy so take that into account when reading. I just needed a place for the fam to basically sleep while we attended athletic events for the weekend. Bad on me for looking at the reviews after I booked it upon seeing 3.5 / 5 stars on Google. However, there wasn’t any notice of the renovations anywhere I saw on Google (look to the reviews) or Hotels.com. So pool is closed, there’s stains galore in the rooms, caulking and tiles out of place, runny fixtures, etc. Staff are pleasant and I feel for them but…yeah. For me, we just grinned and bared it. The breakfast area is clean and best part of the stay."
