Horrible staff and horrible experience

Came with family and rooms were reserved in advance . They claimed Astoria has 3 building b ct to each other so they put us in different hotels . We paid for a beautiful hotel and beautiful hotel rooms and ended up in very old and uncomfortable rooms . There was no irons in the rooms and they didn’t provided us with one . The staff were very rude and unfriendly and they cleaned the rooms only once during out stay and I found a note on the counter from cleaning lady saying to me , keep the room clean . It was the worse hotel I have ever gotten

Prepare to walk

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is good, the typical Georgian breakfast. The biggest negative is that it's at the top of a steep hill and there's nothing around it like restaurants, mini market, or anything else. You would do better to stay at a place with some conveniences. Unless you really enjoy walking up and down hills whenever you need something. It was very quiet

Shockingly disappointing!

I don't recommend this place at all. We had issues from the start of the stay - the Staff didn't know about our arrival so we had to wait even though our reservation was made a month prior. The door to the room was opening just by itself and the electronic lock was broken, so all the time we had our door open without knowing it!!!! The walls are not soundproof - we heard all conversations from the rooms nextdoor. Windows were leaky - the seal was missing. We expected a lot more for such a price. Never again :(

A beautiful, comfortable, quiet hotel

I arrived early due to flight and was given an early check in by a very helpful Night Manager, George. Hotel is very well laid out, quiet and comfortable and is situated high up in the old town. You can get lost on those streets. The hotel is very close to the funicular railway for Mtatsminda Amusement Park

HE LOCATION IS FAR FROM STORES AND RESTAURANTS. THERE WAS A FOUL SMELL OF THE SWERE SYSTEM IN OUR ROOM. THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE.

Amazing hotel to stay in

Despite a couple of issues with the room (not working fridge that was fixed in a 5 minutes) the room was amazing. Huge and comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and helpfull at all times.

So, so...

Quite an uncomfortable location but otherwise an ok hotel. Good breakfast and spacious room. One huge negative was the transport arranged by the hotel to get to the airport when leaving: rude driver, tatty and old battered car - a weck, actually - hot and very unpleasant. That alone is a reason not to stay again at this hotel.
