I’ll try a different place next time
Poor maintenance level Room was weirdly shaped To enter it you need to open the door 180 degrees (vs the normal 90) Basic breakfast Felt overpriced for its condition and service.

Un hôtel a éviter
Nous avions pris cette hôtel pour un couple qui devait passer sa nuit de noces dans la chambre la plus luxueuse. Manque de chance, elle était occupée par une famille du sud du pays ( réquisitionnée a cause de la guerre). Nous n’avons pas été prévenu, il a fallut se rabattre sur une autre chambre, qui malgré les apparences était très mal entretenue. L’ayant très rapidement vu le matin du mariage nous nous en sommes pas aperçus. Et tout ça sans être nullement remboursé de la différence de prix !!! Le jeune couple, à été très mal accueilli et a été très déçu…

La struttura si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia di Hertzelya ed è comoda per raggiungere le freeways viaggiando in controcorrente rispetto al traffico giornaliero. Il buffet per la colazione è ben assortito e abbondante dei piatti tipici della cucina locale. Il personale non è un campione di cordialità, tuttavia efficiente. Pulizia OK. Scarsa la presenza di ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi. A parte il “Benedict” di fronte bisogna recarsi alla Marina di Hertzelya dove la scelta invece non manca.

We stayed at the Suite and it was not clean. Candy near the door and a coffee tablet (the one that you put in the coffee machine) was behind the blinds.

Air con not working properly in first room. Took a determined effort to get the hotel staff on duty to acknowledge the issue before eventually moving us to a room where the air con was ok. Attitude problem! 2nd room comfortable & quiet. Pool area ok but spoilt by over loud house music blaring. If the idea was to dissuade guests from staying too long it worked brilliantly. Only one towel per person allocated, had to collect from reception. Decent breakfast and complimentary cakes all day in the lower lobby area.

Belle chambre, hôtel bien placé.
C’est un hôtel avec des chambres vraiment sympa. Spacieuses, avec vus sur la mer et un petit balcon. Situé sur la plage, avec une piscine vue sur la mer. On retourne régulièrement dans cet hôtel quand on va à hertzilya. Un seul problème, il y avait des tâches dans la baignoire ou alors était-ce cassé, on a demandé à la réception mais rien n’a été fait et ils ne nous ont pas répondu. Dommage, c’était un peu gênant tout de même.

Very inconvenient place for disable / elderly people. No parking . No bell boy . You can’t even get to the Entrance with a car. We got an extremely narrow room that we could hardly walk in to.

Ilana at the front desk is kind, lovely and gave many great recommendations. The who hotel is spotless and airy. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and faces the Mediterranean Sea. The pool is clean and has conviennent access to the beach. The rooms have a sea view and great amenities- mini fridge and Nespresso machine.

Parking Garage wouldnt open a single time. Bed lining hat holes in it. Strange smell in the bath room, maybe from a previouse water leakage? Rooms are quite small for the price of the hotel. Transformer in the electrical cabinet of the room was noisy. Breakfast was very good.

Grundsätzlich ein ansprechendes Hotel in guter Lage und klasse Frühstück. Das bezahlte große Zimmer existierte lt. Hotel nicht, gerade im Aussenbereich war der zustand stark renovierungsbedürftig. Ab morgens um 07:00Uhr Baulärm aus dem Poolbereich. Ein late check- out war nicht möglich, die Malerarbeiten in den Zimmern waren schlecht,- überall Farbreste. Selbst auf Fenstern und Spiegeln :-(

Hôtel sale. Balcons très sale Le service de ménage ne faisait pas de ménage en profondeur (mur de la cabine de douche sale saleté sur la table de nuit …) Nous avions 2 réservations nous avons demandé s’il serait possible de rajouter une chambre le personnel nous a dit que l’hôtel était complet alors que quelques minutes plus tard nous l’avons faite par le biais d’hôtels.com et tout a fonctionné. Nous avons demandé un lit bébé pour notre fille qui a 2 ans et on nous a répondu qu’elle n’en a pas besoin à son âge! J’ai fait les demandes tous les jours mais on nous en a jamais fourni un. Bref établissement que je ne recommande pas du tout.

Rude service on breakfast 😤
We were kicked out of breakfast buffet right when we were going in to have some food. The lady checking guests in for the breakfast venue literally was shouting at us to leave for no reason after we told her our room number. Everyone there who were eating at their table, the chef who was flipping them omelets, the people picking some food from the biffet all were stunned at her yelling and were staring at her and us. We immediately left the place because of how rude she was being; I mean, Karens made more sense than this bish! Its not like we were missing out on anything cause their breakfast isn't even all that good.(No wonder it was free) But hey, atleast the view of the sea and the city was great!

There’s a lot of work to be done here
Might be one of the most disappointing and worse hotels in Israel. Not my first rodeo vacationing in Israel- I know what I have to work with. Some hotels are great, some decent and some horrible. The problem starts when the hotel market itself as a luxury hotel, when in fact it’s far far away from it. You can not put the Satai/Herbert Samuel marketing stamp everywhere, and think it’s enough. Because it’s not. You want to be luxury? Great. Start with the culture of the company, the values that drives the employees and the way the guests are treated. Once you got that, you can now start working on the actual hotel- the rooms, the cleanliness, the amenities, etc. But it all starts with the values, culture, and the way guests are treated. I’ll give this hotel one big plus though- easy access to a beautiful beach!
