“Perfect stay.Room was spacious and clean. Lovely host and a nice breakfast.Would certainly stay again.”

No problem at all - directly across the small road and next to the hotel are parking places, and the hotel validates the parking (it is free to you, the guest). The room we stayed in was a good size, had a great bathroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. “What a gem of a hotel. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Especially for my dietary requirements. The hotel has the wow factor when you walk in. The view from our room over looking the river Slaney was spectacular.”

“Overall stay was good. Room was very clean and the staff were friendly. No early checkin was available, so I had to wait nearly 3 hours to get my room. Parking is terrible for this place. Basically, a dirt parking lot. Very difficult to find a spot. Also, paid about $30 dollars for the fish and chips. TERRIBLE. Peas were nearly cold and poor quality fish. Would not eat there again but I would stay there for location and cleanliness.”

“The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small.”

“We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

“Our room was a bit tired and there was only a fan and it was very hot no air conditioning so we had to move rooms as we couldn’t sleep. Moved to a family room with AC but didn’t get any refund for the difference in room.”
