AC seemed to have only one low temperature setting and the blanket was way too thin to be comfortable in the night. The food at the restaurant needs to improve a lot. Very greasy food. โHard to be critical as the Hotel is 'under new Management' as of November 2018 and understandably there will be some teething problems. The potential for the place is massive. A lovely building with a (potentially) very nice garden, river view, games room/lounge/bar area, and a location on the outskirts of the centre of town allowing easy access to the sights. โWorst experience ever, I booked and paid online but when I reached the property they said they let someone else to stay and can't make them leave, so asked me to go and find different property for that night and ask me to come back and stay next day, my family and kids all are left in the street. I would not recommend this property to anyoneโ
โThis hotel ia gem ๐....very nice hotel with a swimming pool and cascade. Very clean and well decorated. It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. I highly recommend that hotel. And the staff to please you.โ
โGorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. โ
