“The rosemary suite was ideal for 2 couples. Really spacious with super king beds and both en suite. Shower had great water pressure too! All the staff were absolutely lovely, and couldnt be more helpful when i was struggling with bags and a baby! ”

“All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value.”

“Brilliant weekend in Durham and this was a perfect place to stay. Far enough from the center to be too noisy but close enough to walk to the city centre and also the railway station. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfy and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly ”
