Due to a personal medical emergency (following recent surgery), I was unable to attend the booking with my partner as originally planned. “The hotel was very conveniently located and easy to find, and when we arrived all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. My faulty hairdryer was replaced immediately and the food was cooked perfectly. Our only concern was the water temperature in the shower; it was very temperamental, alternating between scalding and freezing!”

“It is important to note that this is a lodge not a hotel. There's no food service on site. Check in details were missing details about how to get into the room. We phoned the assistance number, the person was exceptionally helpful and then requested that £5 cash to be left at the desk to pay for parking. Expedia notes that this is included. Felt like bit of a scam.”
