“My wife, son & I decided to have a spontaneous night away (21-6-25) and after reading a few reviews and using google for location we decided to book with the Stamford Gate Hotel. On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and answered our questions. The room was good and I was even surprised to see trouser pressers in the room. Something I have not seen in many of years which and made me smile and have a good childhood memory of my late parents. The building looks very pretty inside and out...

“There is no chance of missing breakfast, as once it stops, brunch comes out, and when that stops, lunch starts...👍👍👍 All the amenities are more than adequate, with use of the Gym etc..... All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly .....and a big thank to Simon for making me well so welcome upon my arrival and throughout my stay....👍”

“We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff.
