"Parking was easy. However, the property is in terrible shape. This is not a hotel, it is a motel. The man at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming. The room door wouldnt open with the key card."

"Rooms are noisy, we had one bed that was very squeeky. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it took over 30 minutes to get because they forgot about us. Rooftop was also not open, and we didn't know it was not open until we got there. "

"The rooms are outdated and not very clean at least bedding was clean. There is a lot of upkeep and maintenance the rooms need. We ended up doing the breakfast buffet and the food did not feel fresh it was a waste of money. The staff however was very friendly and helpful. The bar is very nice and again the service is excellent. We also ended up having to move rooms because there was work being done to the pool and there was a very strong paint thinner smell in our room and halls near the elevator. We traveled with our baby so we requested to move rooms. The staff moved us right away to accommodate us. "

The King room was massive and well-appointed. The staff - whenever we passed them were attentive and welcoming. Please - treat yourself - stay at Richmond's - The Jefferson Hotel."

"The room was very spacious and equipped with a full size fridge and sink for a family of 4 with kids. Valet was available and were prompt with our vehicle when needed. Our stay was excellent for the weekend."

"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to relatives we were visiting. The staff was competent, our room quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was good (albeit lacking in healthy options). One hassle worth noting was one of the two elevators for the 8-story hotel was non-functional during our three night stay. This proved to be a major inconvenience at during the morning hours when guests were trying to get to breakfast, return from breakfast, and/or leave. Wait time for an elevator was ten minutes some mornings. My 70-year-old husband was able to get a luggage rack to our floor, but chose to use the stairs instead, which took three trips to the car. In my opinion, management should compensate guests. This hotel was also not ecologically-minded. There were no recycling bins and their kitchen used paper plates, plastic cutlery, and disposable cups. We will stay elsewhere in the future. "
