The Best Western Catalina in Tuscaloosa, AL is a real find. Each room has a coffeemaker, refrigerator, and microwave oven. The beds have triple-sheeted duvet linens and have very comfortable mattresses. The bath towels are thick. The hot breakfast buffet in the lobby is delicious. The pool sparkles. The paint and carpet are fresh. Our king room was really more of a suite - it had a sitting room with leather love seat, coffee table, desk, and high-quality task chair. The wi-fi is fast. The...

The minute you walk in you feel welcome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Valet parking via the app is a breeze. The stations on each floor with ice, water and extra k cups is a wonderful touch. The rooftop bar/restaurant is a great way to end your day.

We stayed in the cottage, in room B. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on The temperature in the room stayed nice and cool, especially during the hot July weather. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. For breakfast we were given a voucher to Charles Cafeteria. The food there was great and the staff was real friendly.
