"The President Hotel is within walking distance of the British Museum. The tube station is nearby. The room was small, but not unexpected in London. We had a terrible breakfast at the hotel and opted to go to coffee shops thereafter. It is walkable to the theaters and a long walk to Trafalgar Square, but a nice walk."

"We spent three nights at this hotel. The location is excellent and the employees were warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room did not meet our expectations. It was very small (not unusual in London), but we had to take turns walking through the room as the space was so narrow. The bathroom was terrible: cramped and outdated with rust stained grout on the floor which made it look dirty. The bathtub was in need of re-glazing and there was absolutely no ventilation. Everything in the bathroom, including toilet paper and tissues, was always damp. For the price point, we were very disappointed. There was also an optional service fee of £15 per day which was not disclosed until we checked out. We already tipped housekeeping and the bellman in cash so we had the service fee removed. We didn’t use the restaurant so I cannot comment on that."
