Great location in Central London. Excellent Breakfast buffet. Cabs out front all day so easy to get around town.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. They have rooms in the basement! For the amount of money they charge a night, it’s completely absurd for them to think people will be ok with a room in the basement. It’s felt so cluster phobic, it was dreary, no windows and it was dark. There was constant noise coming from the ceiling they kept me up at night. I think it was the elevator machinery. I complained to the front desk and asked to be moved. They said they could “possibly” move me but would have to charge me extra! Really? When booking the room, no where did it say room in BASEMENT. Never would I think a hotel will offer basement accommodations. The staff however was super friendly but the room was horrid. If you decide to make reservations at this hotel, ask to NOT be in the basement!

I booked months ago. I specifically asked for a room with a nice view. At the desk I again asked nicely. They gave me a room with a smoked glass window. Opening the window it was a dumpster view. A place as nice as Royal Horseguard should fo better than making guests who pay $400 a night have no view! Great that the staff was nice but nice doesn’t fix that problem! Lastly, I don’t think the location was so great!
