Lovely modern hotel in good location in Ueno - near the action, but in a slightly quieter area. We picked Ueno for a 1-night stay after returning from skiing up north, as we felt being near the train to Narita Airport would be beneficial. While this hotel is near the train station, it is on the side furthest away from the Airport line, which meant for quite a long walk while dragging a ski bag. If you are travelling lighter than us though, it is worth the walk. Room was large by Tokyo standards and was well equipped (however only tea available, no coffee in the room). Excellent shower. Lovely smelling body wash. Very comfortable bed (decently firm). The welcome drink from a machine was a bit strange - it might of been nicer to be served a drink downstairs in the bar/restaurant instead, but still a comfortable seating area near the welcome drink location. Overall a brief but very pleasant stay.

Go up to the sky of Tokyo at 450 meters tall. Then, you see the amazing miniature Tokyo below your eyes as well as huge vista of blue sky. Speaking of a impression of tower design, I felt the Tokyo Skytree urbanized and cool, compared to heart-warming for the Tokyo Tower. #Blue
