Theater District, New York hotel rooms at the Independent

"This hotel was located in such a great spot for our trip to new York. It’s just a couple blocks from Times Square, walkable distance to broadway shows, lots of options for dining close by, and subway stations close as well. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The best part was it had two king beds!!! Not many hotels have that option. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. "

"The rooms were well kept. All of the staff including the cleaning staff were superb. Rick’s Cafe on the second floor was a great spot to gather for adventures in the city. We had our entire family stay there including our two small children and we would definitely return. A definite 5 out of 5."

"This hotel was cute and a good location right near Times Square. The room we had on the sixth floor was very dark with a window to the stairs between buildings. It was also very close to the stairway which is used by people going to a restaurant so that location was quite noisy. But the bed was comfortable and the decor was nice. In regards to customer service the girl checking in could have been a little nicer. When you check in to a hotel you expect some sort of upbeat demeanor but this was...

"The original rooms air conditioning wasn’t cooling and I asked for someone to come and check it out and instead, they upgraded me to a larger cooler room! It was great!"
