โThe host was a lovely person who greeted us and showed us to our room right when we got there! My boyfriend and I were celebrating our birthdays and this hotel ended up being the right choice for us :). I definitely would recommend staying here, it was peaceful and exactly the victorian vibes I was looking for. Also the beds were so comfortable very cozy vibes overall!โ
โStayed here while we were in town for a concert. Short walk to the concert venue. The bar staff were super cool. The food was super good. The room was clean and modern.โ
โParking was somewhat tedious this trip because of the concert. Also, it would be great if access to get into the hotel was not limited to the front door/lobby. The doors leading out the side to the DOCO walkway and Daniel Stern Walkway has been closed/unavailable for several years now. โ
โWe liked most things about this hotel. Nice view of the Sacramento River. Easy walk to Old Town Sacramento. Clean room. Very nice shower.
Did not care much for the Pilothouse, the on site restaurant. Way overpriced for very plain breakfast. Bland eggs Benedict for $25 and $15 for a bowl of oatmeal that was nothing special.
We will return to the hotel, though, for the beautiful and quaint accommodations and location. Just not the restaurant.โ
โIt's a small, but elegant hotel. Decor is good. But, there is no parking place and no refrigerator in my room. I will not stay at this hotel next time.โ
โEven though it depends on availability, we arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check in which help our long day go a lot easier โ
