The property location is centrally situated. The rooms are a little on the small side. Biggest drawback was the pervasive and persistent cigarette smoke and cigar smoke smell, both exterior with the entrance/outside cafe area, the lobby, the bar, the elevator and hallways, and rooms. This singular smell issue will prevent us from choosing this location in the future.

The room was clean and welcoming, and the bed was amazing! The mini bar is well stocked. There was a kettle, etc, for hot drinks, but only tea? There was a bit of a glitch when we went to book in; our rooms were not ready, and I felt that the receptionist wasn't very engaging. She told us it would be about 10 - 15 mins, 1 hour later, we were still waiting with no real apology. Although I will say that she apologised at checkout then.

Nice hotel, good location but lacking in basics

The hotel was in a good location and the room was comfortable and clean with a balcony. However, although there was a kettle, no coffee was provided. The breakfast had a great variety but, on both mornings of our stay, the 'hot" choices such as egg, bacon and sausage were cold!

Great location - bad coffee and noise.

The breakfast was nice - except for the coffee. It was the worst coffe ever. The food that are supposed to be warm, could be more warm.. The smoke from the smoking in the bar and in the restaurant in the evening (owner??) was so heavy - we could smell it on the 4. floor. It is not okay, when we have a non-smoking room. The location is really great for everything - but noisy from construktionwork right outside and the music from the restaurants, so remember earplugs. Our room was nice and very clean. The bar-area boring and to much smoke so we went elsewhere. Didn’ t use the “spa”. Only to people could sit or lay down - we were four. The staff is very helpfull and friendly.

Albania Trip 2025

We didn’t use the bar. The staff were very friendly polite & helpful especially the reception staff Alex, Hegi& Sidorela. The house keeping was not to our standards as there were No shower caps until the last night of our stay, No bath robes. We were not happy about the smoking in the hotel as we could smell the smoke in the hallway & in our room which was coming from the restaurant/breakfast room. We were also not happy with the Tea & Coffee kettles has one morning I got scolded with the hot water & there was no Anti Septic cream within the hotel. We feel that the hotel should rethink about maybe putting in a Tea/Coffee machine also the food was running out by 09:30 like no fresh croissants. But overall my sister & I had a great trip as where the hotel is situated was great as we walked very where.

The two girls in the reception were very friendly and helpful. Also the guy in the bar. They all gave us info restaurants exchanges transport etc. hotel is comfy gym was big and a good selection of machines. Swimming pool was small but nice to swim in and cool down. Breakfast was also good and had everything i usually have for breakfast.

For some reason hotel received a booking for different room type than I had reserved through Expedia. Very helpful receptionist fixed that quickly. Hotel itself could use a little refreshment, but everything was clean and bed was comfortable, that's what really matters. Good location only a few minutes walk from the artificial lake, lots of shops and cafes around.

A very kind and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, but is advertised as soundproofed; apparently this is not enough to keep out the noise from the Salsa bar across the street, which plays loud music into the mornings on weekends. Minibar needs a pricelist.

Perfectly OK shame about the gym

Its hard to judge hotels standards between countries and certainly in Albania one has to keep a slightly open mind and judgement, but all in all I think this was worth the price we paid. The location is very very convenient, the rooms are fine. It feels quite fun being directly opposite the old dictators "as it was" 60s house.The biggest negative was the so called gym. Just about everything in there was broken so it was a bit of a swizz to include it in the description to be frank. I also loved arriving late in the day to ask at the bar "can we get anything to eat" to be told "no". But I guess thats the Albanian way - tell it how it is. Mind you we had some lovely meals nearby - some top notch restaurants in Tirana these days,.

Over rated and expensive

We had booked a room with a double bed and they gave us a twin bed. They only half sorted it out. The bed was not very comfortable either. There was a good buffet choice for breakfast. We had booked a room with a balcony. However, we couldn't use it much because of smokers and all the noisy building construction over the road. The hotel is definitely over rated and expensive.

I was very surprised at the poor quality of rooms & facilities at this hotel. I had paid a higher than average hotel fee for Albania, assuming that I'd get a nice place. The only good thing was the location -- very central. Here is what the room & hotel conditions were like: - Our bathroom sink clogged & would have overflown if we didn't stop using it whenever it filled up. - The shower head was dirty. - There were actual holes in the sheets and pillowcases. - The hot tub in the spa was empty and the water hose to fill it both didn't have hot water and leaked. - The heat/steam in the sauna was turned off and there were no instructions or staff available to turn it back on and make it usable. I'll attach pictures of all of these if the system allows.

The room was very nice, clean and had a good view. My main complaint was with front desk staff not being very helpful. No sympathy whatsoever when I arrived earlier than check in time- I understand not being able to give me a room an hour early, but they could have suggested I take advantage of the bar or spa. No menu or information about spa services anywhere. Requested some toiletry items I forgot at home and they were not helpful- didn't have it, didn't suggest where I could get it. When I asked about visiting a local attraction and how best to get there they said a taxi would be best but didn't offer to call one for me or tell me where to find one. Polite but didn't make my life easier.
