Third time staying since my friends live close by and the ladies running things there are very nice and accommodating. The wifi worked great with basic cable so it's definitely an affordable stay. I just needed it as a place to crash after visiting friends and karaoke but for those not looking for a 4-5 star experience this place is as good as it gets! :D

Almost there.

Decent room with kitchenettes. I assumed the kitchenette would be equipped with some basic utensils, etc., but the cupboards were bare. I brought food that needed to be prepared and without utensils or plates, etc., we couldn't eat it. The point for me having a kitchenette was to be able to prepare my own foods. Had to go to fast food restaurants for utensils. Annoying. The rooms were decently clean, but our sheets had stains on them in several places and there was hair and dust on the bed frame behind the pillows.

The receptionist/owner/general manager at the reception was really rude. We have been to a lot of places through Expedia and have always enjoyed our stay, but this one was the worst, unfortunately. The desk attendant couldn't find my name reservation for the first hour and we were almost going to pay twice for the place as he said there is nothing he could do despite me showing him the email from Expedia. As we were almost going to pay me and my girlfriend thought of contacting Expedia to be sure as we could see the money taken out from our bank account, so it turns out that the reservation was successful and the transaction had gone through. As advised from CSR through Expedia, we went in the motel again to check-in, and the receptionist/manager was really rude to us saying that we gave the wrong name or didn't tell it right. After telling him the same name again, he said he couldn't see it still, and kept on getting mad at us. So, for the last time, I said the same name (which was probably the 10th time) he finally saw it and said he messed up somehow. So, after an hour of getting there which involved calling Expedia, talking to the rude receptionist/manager, we were finally able to check-in. This is the first time ever that I and my girlfriend had the worst experience and it's sad that it was via a motel mentioned on EXPEDIA :(

Good place to stay. Easy get to and no issues with others staying. Looks like updated rooms as clean. Next fix hope is the windows so can drown out the QEW sounds.

nice little getaway

Clean, spacious, comfortable, and inexpensive - perfect for what we wanted. There was a fridge and microwave for our use. No coffee maker, or coffee, but we didn't need it. Ground floor unit was great for being able to park out front of our room. We never heard anything from other units. There's a nice little parkette with picnic tables out back - we didn't make use of it but it was nice to know it was there. Wifi was good, although we didn't use it that much.
