Really great experience. Distance is more like a 15-minute walk to Finch, which we never did - we drove the car to Finch and parked in a cheap parking lot next to the subway station. All the stores are there too. The kitchen facilities are really amazing and the bathroom and half bath were somehow kept clean although I never saw anyone doing it.

House was very clean and quiet. There is a bus stop in front of the house. There is ample shared freezer & fridge space (1 shelf/room). Since several rooms share the same restroom, the bedrooms need their own towel rack. Also my room at the back of the house was quite cold; there is no individual thermostat. I had to wear my heavy weight fleece to bed and put clothes along the window ledge to block the cold. The kitchen needs dish towels and proper wash cloths. The only item for washing dishes were scratchy pads, which had damaged the surface of all frying pans.

Rooms were a bit small but it was in a convenient location about 10 min walk from subway. Owner was responsive and the property was clean. Laundry was an added bonus. Keep in mind this is a house and not a hotel or apartment so there is no soundproofing so you can hear other people who live there but everyone was quiet during our stay.

The room was very warm at night. Bring your own pillows, the ones provided aren’t great. The walls are pretty thin, I could hear the mumbling of normal conversation in the room next to us. The shower was awesome. I appreciated the bedroom doors having their own lock and code. I wasn’t expecting to have to share a bathroom with the other guests but it worked out fine. Owner responds right away

Good stay near Finch Station

Good stay 15 min walk from the subway and immediately near a bus station. The accommodations were fine, felt secure and clean. The garden view was rough but I didn’t come to look out the window so it was fine. Would book again. Was a little concerned doing a homestay-type through hotels.com but it worked out fine. I did not get the 24 hour check in email but did reach out to the host and they responded promptly.

I want that shower in my house

Very enjoyable. Luxurious shower! The room would benefit from another towel rack, with facecloths, and a couple more hangars in the closet. Very comfortable bed. Great location, bus stop right there. Parks, walking trails nearby, and also close to Yonge St restaurants etc. On the eco side, instructions as to what can go in the blue bin would help guests use it appropriately.

Good system off checking in. Friendly host immediately responding trough Whatsapp. Coffee, tea and bottle water are available. 10 minutes walk from the subway. Only minus was the sound off the bed. Soft sleeping, but by turning it sweaks.

Stay near Finch St Subway

The units are about a ten minute walk from Finch Station of subway and places to eat. Willowdale ave is fairly busy and there is some traffic noise that forced us to keep windows closed. The building is very clean throughout and features a well furnished kitchen. Our unit A had a very modern private bathroom with multi head shower, but the room is quite small. A good value for the money.
