I stayed here because I was taking part in the Toronto Marathon. The hotel is a short walk away from the starting line, and easy to get back too as its close to a main subway. There are plenty of restaurants nearby but, the hotel does put on a great dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and personable. Definitely would stay here again!

The bed was uncomfortable (caved in, could feel the springs) and the bathroom wasn't very clean (mold in the grout). The area is fantastic and the hotel is conveniently placed for our needs, although overpriced.

The facilities are wonderful. We were there to attend the marathon and needed to leave early in the morning. Considering this big event in the city it would have been ideal for the facility to open breakfast at 6 to support their guests. We were not able to have breakfast as we had to leave to get to the race on time to start.

It’s an okay hotel. Its price point, doesn’t really match its quality. The description of a “downtown” hotel, is misleading too. As it’s about 30 minutes via a car and about an hour via their public train system. Also, found it odd that there wasn’t a door man/woman. Next time I’m in Toronto, I’ll more than likely stay somewhere else. Again, not a “bad” hotel, it’s just “okay”.

We like the property probably why we returned for our second stay except form. The bed in our room was really poor. It’s like the boxspring was broken on the window side of the room, but we managed.

Had issues getting out of the parking. The machine just took my pass and no one could assist so was 30 mins late to a wedding. Had to pay for parking to get out which they refunded at checkout.

It is a very comfortable property, and the staff are accommodating! It is the prime hotel to be in if you are using public transport. (The Yellow Line might as well be in the lobby)

Hotel is very nice inside. Looks like it has been recently renovated. The pool was not in service as they are totally redoing the pool area. Hotel is connected to a centre. Main occupant is the Toronto library. You can get to the subway without going outside. Breakfast had a large selection, lots of hot items.

The whole trip of 5 days was mostly destroyed by room condition of this hotel and the treatment by Expedia. The room i first checked in had a musty smell. The staff were friendly and agreed to change for another room the next day. But The the room was still not smelling good and i decided to check out after two nights (moving to a substantially more expensive hotel during PDAC). This is when the trouble starts. I was supposed to be refunded for two nights or at least one night. When i checked out the hotel told me i needed to talk to Expedia for the refund because the fees were paid to Expedia not the hotel. But the hotel and expedia are still kicking foodball to each other and no side seems to care about the client they claim to serve.

I didn’t feel comfortable here. Just felt dated and gross. The carpet in the room is gross, the shower leaked every time you used it, the towels are mediocre at best. The staff was ok but when we asked for towels, we got a rob instead. The surrounding area is good for food exploration and access to the highway. Other than that I wouldn’t come back here

Convenient location near a major grocery store, subway station, movie theater and lots of small restaurants. And no other hotel options nearby. But the hotel has had moldy grout for years and rather than fixing it, it appears that they just re-caulk over top of it. The rooms are very basic and the restaurant menu uninspired.

Small room. This is a 6.5/10 hotel. Service was nice but don’t expect anything more than the basics. Rooms had paper thin walls. It sounded like people were in my room when they were in the hallway and next door. Small bathrooms.
