“The Kapok was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has great restaurants and the food was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day and delicious. The location is a set back from the port and downtown, however, they are easily accessible. The hotel is in a walkable and safe location.”

“We arrived in the evening at 8 pm but despite a pre-booking, we were not expected. The room had not been cleaned for a long time, there were thick layers of dust in many places, floor was broken here and there.Toilet had not been cleaned at all and there were old toileteries laying around from previous guests. I was asked to pay 80 USD despite a booking price of 70 USD, which still in my opinion is a total scam for what you get. I would spend my dimes elsewhere every day of the week.”
