"Super clean hotel and room. Great aesthetics for both. Room was perfect. Came with everything needed. Staff was friendly. Areas for improvement: Bathroom light kept going off while showering; Room had a "clean/chemical" smell but was too strong. Expedia and booking said "private parking available." Maybe I'm unaware that private parking means valet? So only street parking available. Otherwise everything was great. Would definetly stay there again. "

"Husband and I decided to visit San Diego last minute and after researching the downtown area decided the location of ES fit us perfectly. Short walk from the 992 bus stop to and from the airport. We booked through Expedia and selected a King Corner Suite. We had a wonderful view of the Harbor and will miss waking up to that in the am. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the nightly reception, bartenders were so friendly. Breakfast ran like a well oiled machine and food selection was wonderful. We were able to use our resort fee at the on-site restaurant and gift shop. The pizza at The restaurant was very good and the staff was excellent-thank you Chris! Gift shop attendant very helpful in helping us as well. This ES was the best one we have stayed at in a very long time. The location is a perfect for Seaport Village, walking to the Gaslamp District, Midway, and we even walked to Little Italy. Will definitely stay here again!"
