very friendly staff and helpful with recommendations, arrangements for cars /tours etc. beautiful setting. nice retreat from the business and chaos of Ubud. The food was ok but a little expensive for the quality.
Artini cottages let us check in early and the service is excellent. food is great and location is close to market and restaurants. will recommend staying here
Well looked after, staff were friendly and attentive. The accommodation is very central walking distance to anything you need whether it was food or leisure.
Would stay again and I will definitely tell my friends.
Hoped for a quiet, clean, and comfy place to stay in the heart of Ubud, and that's exactly what I got! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times, the room, while a bit old, was clean, comfortable, and HUGE, and the pool and facilities were great. I was so comfortable at all times, as a single female traveler, and I really appreciated the friendly feel of the place. I highly recommend it!

Very good hotel and stay
I was very happy to stay in this hotel. The staff was very professional and friendly. They helped me with tips and where to go, what to visit...
The room was clean and good value for money.
I did not take a breakfast as I was leaving before 7am.

Lovely property in a great location. However, my room was run down and the bathroom was outdated and not very clean.
The restaurant, reception, gardens and pool were gorgeous and staff wonderful.
The room are spacious with brand new bathroom. Stunning garden and pool. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating. Serene and tranquil, yet as you step outside you have access to great restaurants, bars and massage places.
We were moved across to the Artini hotel on Bisma as the pool was under repairs. The staff were fabulous at moving us over. And the Artini Bisma was wonderful.
We stayed for 5 nights and had a good stay. Staff are great, really helpful and they go out of their way to help you. The pool was good to relax in, very quiet and enough loungers. It’s away from main road so very peaceful. A walk away from the shops. Plenty of food choices around. The room was good but needs a little improvement. The only downside was that we could hear the people walking in the room above us loud in the middle of the night, which did disturb us every night, they were walking but it was loud! as the upper level flooring is made of bamboo so if your going to this hotel ask for a top floor room so you don’t experience the noise.
When we arrived, we were so surprised that the hotel is nicer than we expected. Every hotel staff we met were very friendly and eager to help. During the first day breakfast at the hotel, one staff gave us a map and showed us where and what to in walking distance in Ubud. On our request, he even arranged a day trip for us for the next day. The driver picked us up on time from the hotel. We had a great time! We will stay in this cottage again if we visit Ubud again. Thanks to all the staff of this hotel. You made our holiday so enjoyable!
This was my 2nd stay at Artini 2 Cottages (last time in 2016). I love the traditional Balinese architecture and the fabulous, manicured garden setting wrapped around a crystal clear pool and dining area. The hotel is also very central to all the sights and attractions of Ubud, and the transport companies I used to travel to and from Ubud had their station just 400m from the hotel. Very attentive, kind staff and good breakfasts! This hotel is a winner in my book. One caveat... it is set well off and below the main street, so access for people with disabilities could be challenging.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s beautiful, lush and green. The pool is beautiful & clean. Breakfast was a delicious set menu each morning. Staff were friendly!!
Location is perfect and close to the Main Street of ubud. Lots of restaurants in the area.
They are bungalow style rooms, not newly built so a little outdated but that’s the ubud character style with the high hut style roof.
The only things I could fault is the broken shower , we had to hold the hose to wash ourselves & the mosquitos, not the accommodations fault but just make sure you take repellent.
The whole place and location in Ubud has a really Bali style to it. Almost jungle. Even though the Monkey Forrest is not that close, you still find monkeys on the hotel ground occasionally. The pool is nice and clean and enjoyable. One thing, which was a surprise was that they only had 1 umbrella covering 2 sun beds out of a total of 4 sun beds for the whole place. However, we visited in low season so we did not have any trouble with it.
We had our own building and superior room. It was great but a little bit old on the inside. For example, the shells on the vindows mad the room very dark even when it was day. But the location of the hotel topped it.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were thee reason why it made such good impression on us and the whole experience with the stay.
First of all I want to say the staff was amazing and my rating has nothing to do with them.

Pros
Location
Excellent Staff
Cons
The bed!!! The bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The padlock entry/exit. Due to the monkeys in the area you have to use a padlock to lock the door when you leave. Very inconvenient. The water coming from the sink was cold but you could burn your skin when taking a shower. The room was a bit worn not like the pictures. This hotel is a step up from a Hostel. If you need a place to sleep store your luggage and close to the sites this is your place but don’t expect anything more for a comfortable staff, the photos were highly deceiving.
One of my favourite hidden gems! I have stayed at a few other hotels in Bali / Ubud and this one is my favourite so far! It is set in from the busy street and the pool and the grounds are very “Zen”. I swam every day and made sure to add breakfast for approximately $4 extra per day, so I didn’t need to run out first thing. I stayed in a traditional room which was pretty basic. It had a small deck at the front and the only thing needed would be an updated bathroom since the tub was burgundy and had not undergone renovations, as some others had. I will definitely stay here again since the staff are very friendly and I found the whole experience to be very peaceful and enjoyable
Awesome stat at Artini 2 (and later artini Bisma).
Surroundings, facilities, and location is perfect. Staff is lovely both maintenance, cleaningcrew, reception and in restaurant. Talked to them all and they are so friendly.
We got issues with an really aggressive neighbor guest that was drunk and couldn’t behave (old russian lady). Staff solved it in the best possible regard and went the extra mile for us. Due to this issue we later got the oppertunity to move over to Artini Bisma which also was an amazing facility at Bisma road.
Except for the drunk Russian other guests was a nice mix from around the world. Many seems to stay for a long time and return back.
I hope we can come back again in the future.
Best regards and highly recommended from our side.
Great eating areas nearby, lovely quiet spot in a busy location. Beautiful surroundings and great staff. Noisy people above us, with every noise heard and scrapping of chairs in early hours of the night.
This accommodation was very good! The location was perfect - central to most attractions and lots of food/shopping. The room was large and clean, and it looked like most rooms had nice green views. The pool was a little green so we didn't swim but it was really nice to sit beside. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. I would definitely come back again and stay here.
Artini 2 Cottages are lovely. The cottages are attractive, traditional Bali buildings, so not new, but charming and full of character. They are set in a large secluded garden some way back from the road, so you don't hear the traffic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Eating breakfast in the poolside restaurant was delightful. It's a great location, easy walking distance from Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and Pura Taman Sarawasti (water temple). There are many excellent cafes and restaurants in Jl Hanoman itself and it is also close to the semi-pedestrianised Jl Goutama area. We spent a peaceful few days at Artini 2 and would thoroughly recommend it.
