I’ve stayed here three times now, over a period of about 15 years. It’s located right off a main street with lots of restaurants and small shops, but the rooms overlook a rice field. Quiet and beautiful. Staff is very attentive and the place is immaculate. Great value for money. I highly recommend.

Kun Kun is an oasis of peace and quiet nestled in very busy down town Ubud. The green rice field, the fish ponds and the resident duck are lovely to see each day, the pool with frangipanni flowers falling in it, is paradise and the rooms are very well cared for and cleaned each day. The staff are fun and friendly and were the highlight of our stay. The upstairs room that overlooks the rice paddy is beautiful but it can be hard work getting up and down those stairs multiple times are day, so a downstairs room around the pool might be better if you are not super fit.

An Oasis in Ubud for only little money...

Just a wonderfull place to stay in Ubud. So quiet, big room and bathroom, and my big balcony, where I spend many hours..Every day new breakfast, every day room cleaned. Beautiful garden, nice pool, so friendly boss and not least The Staff 😍 Going to Bali 11 times only regret that I didnt find this Guest house earlier. VERY good valuable for the money..Breakfast only 30.000 rp..from jan24 this place will be called KunKun...

スタッフの方はみんな若くて頑張ってます。早朝にテラスやプールサイドを掃除して、ゲストが朝気持ちよく過ごせるようにしてました。シャワーのお湯は熱くて量も問題なしです。301かな角部屋は彩光も十分でした。 モンキーフォレストやスーパー、王宮、レストラン、徒歩圏内で便利です。

Solid Value, Quiet But Central Location

Meticulous landscaping, attention to detail, good location off the main street with gorgeous rice field view. Pool was a good size with loungers. Staff very helpful, attentive and always smiling.

Authentic Bali experience

Really peaceful accommodation in a great location minutes from all you’d want to visit in Ubud. All staff were really friendly. Breakfast very tasty as long as you like the one breakfast served each day which we did! It is not a modern hotel but you do feel like you are staying in Bali

Noisy if you get the wrong room

Was put in a field facing room on the ground floor, not much privacy from passers by and staff and kept up at night by hundreds of ducks quacking in the field outside since the doors/windows provided little sound proofing. The bathroom was a quite run down and hot water was scarce. The bed was huge and comfy, however, and the staff and breakfast were lovely.

Comfy alongside rice fields in the middle of Ubud

Lovely guesthouse in a perfect location for Ubud. The pool is great on a hot day and I enjoyed the changing mains for breakfast each day. The staff were always obliging and constantly cleaning! Only downside was that the water wasn't quite hot enough.

Good small hotel ith pool in central ubud.

This hotel is small and friendly and has a lovely pool. It is just behind Atman Nourish Kafe which is very easy to find and is along a quiet lane, some rooms have views of rice paddies. I didn’t try the breakfast. It is on the same street as the supermarket where you are dropped if you come to ubud by mini van from Padangbai and very close to everything. The rooms are OK but could definitely do with updating whereas the pool area is charming.
