**Honest real review from June 21, 2025 **
We were visiting in California for just under 2 weeks and stopping and booking hotel rooms wherever we ended up for the night. I’ve never had any problems with booking until we booked at this hotel. Before I went ahead and booked my room through Expedia, I called the hotel to ask for their rates to see if they could give me a better deal. A lady answered the call and answered my questions, Expedia was still giving a better deal so I let her know I will be booking for the night but I’ll go ahead and do it through Expedia. She then started to sound annoyed and said okay fine but then you owe me a $200 deposit - fair every hotel charges that so I was like yeah that’s fine. She confirmed with me that they only had suite rooms available and they costed more but we were fine with the price. I have now booked our room and we’re driving about 1.5 hours to this hotel. A couple hours go by and she calls me and says oh Expedia has a glitch and they have no rooms available now. I’m like but when I called you - you told me you had only suite rooms available and she goes oh well maybe it got booked by the time we got off the phone? I told her I had everything filled out on the app and that the room got booked within 20 seconds of us getting off the phone and me hitting submit on the room booking? Like all of the suite rooms? She was so rude and continued to make excuses and then hangs up the phone on us. First bad experience ever.
